REGISTRATION CLOSES IN 3 DAYS!! Hear what one of our member’s parents has to say about her son’s involvement in the club:

“When my son Kyle first joined homeschool MUN in 2019, he was the youngest in the group, and I was worried it would be difficult for him to debate and speak publicly among older teens. However, the MUN teen leaders did a fantastic job teaching the newbies, and after just a few months, Kyle was so pleased to be voted Best Delegate at a meeting. He used to be so afraid of public speaking but now thanks to the warm and supportive atmosphere of MUN, he has gained so much confidence. He has also developed a deeper understanding of history and world issues. I have also been so impressed with how the teens run the club all by themselves, organising everything from the budget and schedule, to guest speakers and conference attendance.

Homeschool model UN has truly been such a wonderful experience for my son Kyle.”

Public speaking in preparation for Model United Conferences is a huge aspect that we focus on to nurture our members. The advantage of attending MUN is that the skill of public speaking comes indirectly through the overarching style of MUN. One of our members gives her testimony, emphasising one of our core aims in the club.

“HSMUN has helped me grow so much in the area of public speaking, and I continue to be challenged to speak in conferences and practice sessions. MUN also consists of a warm community that encourage each other to go even further than we've already gone in our journey of MUN. I continue to look forward to more pushes into speaking more confidently 🙂”

HSMUN has "forced" me to research more and familiarize myself with issues around the world. With encouraging members and equally fun topics, I always learn more than expected each time I leave a session.
