Play is more than just fun, itโs how children explore, create, build confidence, and connect with the world around them.
At NurtureStars Preschool, every day is filled with meaningful moments of play that inspire curiosity, learning, and growth ๐๐

Last Saturday, we were delighted to be part of the Tampines Learning Festival 2026 organised by PA โ spending an afternoon connecting with families, little ones, and the wider community โจ
Our NurtureStars team had a wonderful time welcoming children to our booth, where curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning came alive through hands-on play.
In line with the sustainability theme, we creatively repurposed recycled materials to design an engaging throwing game where children aimed to toss balls into the mouth of a star-shaped target โญ Each child was given three balls made from recycled paper, making the activity both fun and meaningful.
Through this experience, children not only discovered the importance of reusing materials in an enjoyable way, but also strengthened their hand-eye coordination, focus, and motor skills as they practised aiming and throwing accurately.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated, and shared smiles with us ๐
Special thanks to Honourable:
*Mr Desmond Choo - Minister of State for Defence, Vice-Chairman of Tampines Town Council, Member of Parliament for Tampines Changkat SMC and President of SAFRA.
*Mr Baey Yam Keng - Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Transport
Mayor, North East District
*Mr Masagos Zulkifli - Minister for Social and Family Development

Some parents focus on what happens inside the classroom.
But some of the most important learning happens outside of it ๐
Through play, interaction, and real-life experiences,
children develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
Thatโs what shapes how they grow ๐ซ
