From the exciting “Find Your Parent” challenge to the adorable “Guess Who I Am” activity, the room was filled with laughter, surprises, and precious bonding moments. 🎭👣

The children also proudly presented a lovely dance performance to express their love and appreciation for their parents. 💃🕺❤️

The celebration ended with a colourful SSDB tie-dye activity, where families created meaningful keepsakes together. 🌈🎨

🌿 Earth Day Celebration at ELFA Preschool @ Jurong East 🌍

Our little learners are all set for a meaningful Earth Day, dressed in blue and green to show their love for our planet!

Throughout the morning, children will dive into story time, songs, and hands-on activities designed to spark awareness about caring for the Earth. Through playful learning and guided conversations, they’ll discover simple yet powerful ways to make a difference every day 🌱

🌼 Special Highlight: Recycled Planting Activity
With a used plastic cup or bottle, our children will transform everyday recyclables into creative mini planters — turning “trash” into something green and beautiful! 🪴

We can already hear their excitement:
💬 “I want to decorate mine with flowers!”
💬 “My bottle will become a tiny garden!”

Organised by Kinderland International Education (KIE), Singapore’s first-ever Preschool Chef Healthy Cooking Competition celebrates the unsung heroes who transform everyday ingredients into healthy, delightful meals.
More than a contest, it heralds a new movement in shaping how young children experience food.

Representing three of five KIE’s network of preschools —Kinderland, ELFA Preschool, and NurtureStars Preschool — the participating cooks worked in pairs to create festive-themed, culturally inspired, or fusion dishes. These dishes must not only meet nutritional standards but also delight children’s taste buds.
