Through The Rainbow Fish story, we began a shared inquiry with the children—slowing down to wonder about sharing, friendship, and belonging.
Instead of one answer, we explored multiple perspectives. Some saw sharing as connection, others felt it depends on what is given and what is kept. These discussions opened ideas around identity, boundaries, and relationships.
This thinking now moves into making.
The children will create clay fish windchimes, each one a personal expression of their ideas through form and material.
Parents, we invite you into this inquiry too—what does sharing mean to you? We welcome the children to continue these conversations at home.
From story to thinking, from thinking to making.

Fashion is more than what we wear — it is confidence, self-expression, and the courage to dream big. Watching our artists transform their ideas into striking illustrations has been nothing short of inspiring.
The runway begins with a sketch. 💫👗🎨

This week, we added scales, tails, and eyes to our koinobori! The colors and patterns made our koinobori look even more lively and unique. We also painted a fireworks background to create a festive atmosphere and bring the whole artwork to life.

This year’s School of the Arts Singapore DSA Talent Academy test was simply… to draw a cup ☕️
It sounds easy at first.
But that’s often the point.
They are usually not looking for the “prettiest” drawing alone — they observe:
• Observation skills
• Understanding of form and proportion
• Light and shadow
• Perspective
• Patience and focus
• How a child interprets something ordinary in their own way
A simple object can reveal a lot about an artist’s fundamentals.
That’s why DSA preparation cannot be rushed at the last minute.
Strong artistic observation is built slowly over years of drawing, experimenting, making mistakes, and learning to truly see 👀🎨

From painting to a life-sized creation that moves with the wind 🌿
The children are slowly seeing how ideas can grow beyond the classroom — transforming imagination into something they can truly experience together 🤍
