To make an architectural model seem more real we often provide a setting that is more convincing by 'planting' trees and bushes where you often see them in real life. Precision of an architectural model is not limited to buildings. The setting in which the buildings are in have to look as realistic as possible. This is especially difficult to portray for tress and bushes as they require different gradients of colour and textures for different plants.

Architectural scale models are not only restricted to the exterior outlook of buildings and landscapes, but also the interior design and layout of an area bounded by its walls.

The first two photos shows the intended outlook after the Main Upgrading Programme (MUP) in Holland Drive while the third photo depicts the interior layout after the MUP.
