Hi PCS Alumni and Lecturers, we are one day away from the event. Lecturers confirmed in attendance include Ms Nelly, Mr Ann Tat, Mr Jonathan Lee and Mr Keith. We are in the midst of gathering more to come. Do ask your friends along and join us for this night of catching up and conversations!

Please note that there are no games/activities organised. This is a gathering where focus will be on the organic conversations and interactions with your peers and lecturers in attendance.

To all PCS Alumni,

Starting from this year, Psychology Studies (N77) has been officially closed down as an independent course in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. It has merged with Business & Social Enterprise (BZSE) to form a new course called Community Development to better meet the needs of the community as well as to widen the career options of our graduates.

While the closure can be saddening news for some of us, we would like to take this time to appreciate what we have gained from the course and celebrate the good times that we had with our dearest friends and lecturers!

Hence, do join us in this PCS Reminiscence Gathering taking place on 2nd August (Friday) as we catch up with our dearest lecturers and our friends at our favourite getaway venue Makanplace. Do note that this is open to all batches, hence bring your friends along and we look forward to having all of you there ! 😃

Psychology Concept

This is also known as self-serving bias in Psychology. We all have a tendency to take personal credit for our achievements and blame external forces for our failures. This cognitive bias helps us to protect our self-esteem and saves some 'face'. Who would you thank or blame, the next time you get your assignment back?

People spend 47% of their time daydreaming (Killingsworth & Gilbert, 2010).

Hmm...that's like half your life spent just on daydreaming. Why not make full use of the other half doing something you love or something useful and meaningful?

Where PCS students come together and have fun! :D

Before it is too late, we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all PCS students for making PCS Camp 2014 possible !! :D

Firstly the CAMPERS who are willing to take your time and come down to participate in our camp, the camp will not be possible without all of your active participation! :))) Secondly, the GROUP LEADERS who we are so every thankful for because the camp will definitely lose its hype without all of your enthusiasm and passion! Not forgetting the FIRST AIDERS who have provided important assistance in our camp in ensuring that the discomfort of campers are well taken care of :D Lastly, we would like to thank our PCS LECTURERS, Ms Faith Ong, Ms Vivian, Dr Juliet and Dr Victor for being so so supportive by helping us in whatever way you can! :)

PCS Camp 2014 has come to an end. HOWEVER the friendships here do not, rather they just blossomed! Hope that through this camp, we have achieved our objective of having a more bonded PCS. Once again, thank you so much to every single one of you,
