Just received a text from a grateful ex-student. She received her Alvls results today.

Back in 2024, She was my first 6-pointers (olvl batch 2023) in my coaching journey. And now full 70 rank points for her Alvl.

I stopped coaching her during the first year of Jc after i put her ahead 4x chapters for her JC journey at HCI and from there she managed her H2 maths on her own.

This is what my mission in coaching is all about.

Im grateful that i am able to contribute to the success for a fine young lady which i believe one day she will be able to contribute more in return to her family, the society and to our country.

2026 Intake closed for now as I am adjusting my schedules for all my existing students, new students just joined this Jan2026, and those joining me starting this week for H2 maths.

All the best to all students receiving their olvl results at 2pm today (14 Jan 2026).

This year, I hv absolute faith and somehow higher expectation that my student's results double A for both Maths, and likely 2x 6pointers(raw). The only 1x taking emaths only shld be comfortably B3 at least.

Each year, during coaching, I keep reminding students and parents abt the well known “bell curve” O Levels result. E Maths and Amaths A grade is often >85%.

Remember that Olvl results doesnt define your future. It's just the beginning. The next journey is where it matter most. Anything is possible... as long as you keep going and never give up on yourself ❤

Take time to think about your options, and choose what will suit you best.

Continue to work hard and give your best. The journey to young adulthood has just begun 🤜 🤛

N-Level Results 2025. Only 1x Nlvl student this year.

Stefan (ACS Baker) joined me from beginning of sec2 struggling with maths.

It took me awhile to build his confidence and attitude towards learning maths, motivating and challenging him to complete the whole syllabus by end of his sec3.

And yes we did! We completed all the Nlvl requirement by the start of 2025. And had the whole year polishing up to ensure bell curve A1, at the same time more time for other subjects.

A1 for Maths and raw score 8points qualified for PfP!! No need to do sec5.

Seeing you grown up (so much taller now), taking responsibility in your studies, and fighting this battle to the best of your ability 🙌

Finally, the time is ripe..... hahahaha I've decided to start home maths tuition for my little one (P4) next year 2026. And my wife is doing all the coordination and recruiting students for me in their mummy chat group 😂😂😂😂

Why i start now.....

1. Having a study companion (her school mates) really motivates her and makes learning more fun together.

2. At pri 4, it's crucial to instil discipline and consistency with her school work, and weekly tuition helps her with that. Every effort counts

3. I want to build their confidence by getting them ahead of their class

4. And and it's easier to clear doubts and questions in a smaller setting, rather than in a big class where they might be shy to ask or no time for the teacher to answer questions as every class period is rather short.

So so.... as for now, just once per week I will spend time coaching at the comfort of my home.

(Currently running 2x a week revision session for Dec Holiday, before Christmas week, then school reopen back to once per week)

Nothing changes if Nothing Changes

Kyler came to me in June and after a very dramatic/turbulence 3x Terms in Pri 5, Kyler delivered his promise (in one of the top primary school in the East)

And it's more than just Maths. It's abt character too! Ability to stay out of trouble to begin with for him.

With Uncle Bennie, It's abt rebuilding, reshaping, restoring confidence, hope and getting a promising kid with great potential back on track.

And it only works if one is willing to work it! Walk the talk!

Here we go again .... Alvl H2 maths prep course for my existing olvl student (definitely going Jc next year). Bridging the gaps from those taking IP going to yr5.

Just a gentle reminder, There are definitely many more qualified and good H2 coaches/trainers out there in the market, im definitely not one of them.

But i guess my students have faith in my coaching methods and styles or perhaps used to the way doing maths with me.

Covering graphing techniques, transformation of curves, modulus function, equation and inequalities for this JC1 prep course.

It's also helping one to get physically back in shape and trim down our weight together 😂😂😂😂😂

We both managed to go down to 76kg .... but after that we both ballooned back to over 80 hahahaha

This hand written appreciation for me is definitely very very valuable. I coached ChenHao (DHS IP) starting yr3. Next year will be moving on to year5 (jc1) after top-ing his class in both Maths this eoy for yr4.

Then time to regroup, reflect and go again! There will definitely students I'm gona drop next year as i mentioned im may not be suitable coach for every student and i hv my demands too. I dun believe in wasting parent's money.
