Nowโs the time to review and be laser-focused on the topics and question types that truly matter with the limited and precious revision time your child has.

These are definitely important as they account up to 44% of the entire PSLE Maths from the 5-year research that our Maths Team has done on past PSLE Maths.
Whatโs often neglected are the โGiftedโ topics that some parents have come to call them.
The questions are never the same. Thatโs one reason. The other reason, unfortunately, is that there are โtoo manyโ methods to solve. While methods are useful, but when your child relies on them too much, they become crutches. They are now memorising the techniques instead of the concepts behind.
PSLE tests on concepts and never on methods. Once the concepts are rock solid, your childโs confidence will be boosted exponentially! At least, thatโs our experience from our AKLC Online students.
Just to add more statistics. Number Patterns has only been tested once in the past 5 years. If it were tested again in 2022 PSLE, do you think your child would be able to score those 4 to 5 marks?
Collectively, if these two question types are tested, they may account for up to 10 marks in the entire PSLE Maths or Primary 4 and 5 examinations.
Thatโs a difference between an AL1 and AL3.
