St Andrew's Junior College (SAJC) The Lutheran and Presbyterian Churches also joined in the building project. The College began in 1978.

St Andrew's Junior College (SAJC) has its origins in St Andrew's School, which was founded in 1862 by the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. SAJC is an aided mission school which was started as a vision of faith when the Anglican Church took up the challenge of building a junior college in line with national educational developments in the 1970’s. SAJC is a two-year co-educational institution that tak

Moving forward together, one stride at a time. 🏃‍♂️💙

For this year’s Annual Cross Country: CARE to Run, the SAJC family took to the tracks at the new SIT campus at Punggol Digital District!

This year marked a special milestone in our partnership with the St. Andrew's Autism Centre (SAAC). For the very first time, our partners joined us in the run! Seeing everyone encourage, pace, and cheer one another on was a beautiful, quiet reflection of what it means to look out for one another and move forward as a community.

What a meaningful way to wrap up Term 2. As the June holidays begin, we wish all our students, staff, and partners a restful break. Take this time to recharge, reflect, and renew our focuses for the rest of 2026! ✨

Our deepest thanks to our PE department, student volunteers, SAAC, SIT, and our alumni network for walking this journey with us and keeping our community spirit so incredibly strong. 🙌 Up and On!

165 years of history, and we’re still putting down new roots! 🌱✨

In partnership with Mapletree, we kicked off a massive green initiative on 22nd May 2026. Staff, students, and partners from Mapletree came together to plant 300 trees on our campus, marking the start of a 600-tree programme across St Andrew’s Village by 2027!

A massive shoutout to the close to 230 Mapletree staff and our amazing SAJC students and faculty who rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty!

At our SAJC Thanksgiving Ceremony last Friday, we paused to take stock of a remarkable year of growth, grit, and milestones. While we celebrate the incredible achievements of our student body across academics, sports, and the arts, it was truly about looking beyond the accolades.

Thanksgiving at SAJC means recognizing the effort, time, and love poured into our journeys by our teachers, parents, peers, and mentors. Every achievement we share is a testament to the community that stands firmly behind us.

To everyone who has guided our steps, challenged our minds, and lifted our spirits—thank you. Up and On!

SYNERGY 2026: A finale to remember! 🎶✨
From powerful percussion to soul-stirring melodies, the Cultural Centre was buzzing with the energy of three CCAs coming together as one.
It wasn’t just about the music; it was about the SAJC spirit. Beyond the tiring rehearsals, our team—from the performers to the unsung heroes in AVA and Backstage—showed what true grit and initiative look like. We faced every challenge together, proving that you can’t whistle a symphony alone; it takes the whole orchestra.
That tearful curtain call marked both an end and a beautiful beginning.

We were deeply honoured to have Mr. Jonathan Chen, Deputy Director (North America) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, kick off the 14th edition of Saints Model United Nations (Saints MUN).

At this year’s conference, our delegates stepped into a world where history and power collide. From heated debates in the General Assembly to strategic alliances in the hallways, the air was thick with a single question: How do we learn from the past to rewrite the future? 🌏✨

More than just a conference, it’s where Saints find their voice, challenge the status quo, and practice the habit of Daring to Act.

Swipe to see our delegates in action!

Empowering Future-Ready Leaders through Bilingual Proficiency

SAJC recently concluded the 3rd Youth Bilingual Discourse, a collaborative initiative with the National Library Board. This platform brought together 150 students from 13 Junior Colleges and Centralised Institutions to engage with complex global issues.

A key highlight was the leadership of 40 student facilitators drawn from the participating schools. Having undergone facilitation training on Polarity Management at SAJC earlier in March, these students demonstrated the qualities of skilled communicators and holistic thinkers, navigating nuanced discussions in both English and their Mother Tongue Languages.

We extend our gratitude to Ms Tan Qin Lin for sharing her insights on the strategic value of bilingualism in a globalized workforce. At SAJC, we remain committed to developing servant leaders who are equipped with the wisdom and courage to serve the coming days.

It is with deep respect and gratitude that we remember our founding Principal, Bishop John Tan Teng Wai, who passed away on 3 April.

Bishop Tan was tasked with the significant responsibility of starting St Andrew’s Junior College in 1978. Many of our pioneer alumni will remember the early days at Malan Road, where Bishop Tan’s steady leadership turned an unfinished building into a thriving community of 600 students.

He was a believer in holistic development long before it was a trend, he oversaw the development of our presence in sports and bodybuilding, and famously performed on his saxophone for the students. 🎷👟

Most importantly, he was a shepherd of character. He often shared the wisdom of Psalm 1, reminding us that a life rooted in God’s word is one that yields fruit in every season. 📖

As we reflect on his life during this Easter season, we are thankful for his years of service and the legacy of leadership he leaves behind.

Our deepest condolences to his family and the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, Bishop Tan. Up and On!

It was a school full of life and laughter as we hosted a delegation from Tsung Tsin Christian Academy (TTCA .edu.hk), Hong Kong, on 30 March 2026.

Our Principal, Mr. Tham, alongside our ODAC hosting teachers, welcomed Principal Mr. Cheung Man Wai and Deputy Principal Mr. Cheung Chit with an exchange of tokens, marking a shared commitment to friendship and mutual learning.

We are especially proud of our ODAC students who served as campus guides, as well as Mr Ma Huaqi and 26S08 who welcomed our guests into their GP lesson. These interactions embody our spirit of being One Family Unbroken, proving that friendship knows no borders.

We look forward to more such opportunities to grow together with our international friends! 🌍✨

At SAJC, we believe in making learning meaningful by connecting it to the world around us. On 9th March 2026, our students participated in the inaugural National Project Work Festival, excelling in both the Project Showcase and the Marketplace of Ideas Pitch.

In the Showcase, Anusha, Adam (Group C078) and Asher, Chloe, Xin Hui, and Hana (Group C094) shared their innovative solutions for Singapore’s societal challenges with great enthusiasm.

We are also incredibly proud of our two teams who were shortlisted for the national Pitch competition. A***n and Caleb (C064) impressed with their presentation, while Jovia and Madelyn (C137) secured 4th Place nationally! 👏

As Caleb reflected, the journey helped them "overcome nerves and step outside my comfort zone." This growth in character and confidence is what being a Saint is all about.

Well done to all students and the tutors who mentored them! 🕊️
