RMIT Alumni Singapore joined RMIT-SIM Pre-Graduation Night at OverEasy on 25 August.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the newly graduated students from the RMIT–SIM degree programmes and celebrate this important milestone together. We were delighted to introduce the RMIT Alumni Singapore chapter and invite the graduates to join our alumni community, where they can build meaningful connections and participate in future events.

It was also a pleasure to see several RMIT University leaders joining us for the evening. Their presence made the celebration even more special.

Congratulations to all the graduates, and we look forward to welcoming you to the RMIT Alumni Singapore community!

It was a privilege to come together as one RMIT Alumni Singapore (RMITAS) community to welcome RMIT University Chancellor Peggy O'Neal AO on her first visit to Singapore.

It was also an honour to meet Her Excellency Robyn Mudie, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, following her appointment earlier this year, and to reconnect with university leaders Michelle King, Layton Pike, Colin Picker, Mathews Nkhoma, Joanna Watts, Tad Ameresekere and Bernard Oh.

We were equally delighted to meet Kwok Kee Wei and Professor Jorg Bley from SIM Global Education, as well as fellow RMIT alumni and friends.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful gathering. It was a wonderful celebration of the RMIT community and the enduring connections that bring us together.

RMIT Alumni Singapore (RMITAS) launched its inaugural CSR initiative last Saturday in support of New Hope Community Services and their 'Walk in Their Shoes' programme.

Together, we packed care bags with essential toiletries, visited shelters for the homeless at Margaret Drive and Ang Mo Kio, and spent time listening and connecting with the staff and beneficiaries.

We also presented a donation to New Hope Community Services and Kampong Siglap to support their ongoing work with socially vulnerable individuals as they rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.

We thank everyone who donated their time and effort to make this initiative possible.

Let’s come together and Give Back to the community as ONE RMIT Alumni.

Come 4 July, RMITAS is organising a Learning Journey which offers a window into homelessness that are often unseen. At this session, you will learn how social service interventions support housing stabilisation in Singapore. You will get a chance to visit shelters and network amongst fellow alumni.

The RMITAS Personal Branding Masterclass: Elevate Your Professional Image was successfully held on 8 April 2026 at Ten10 Square, Orchard Central, bringing together RMIT Singapore alumni for an evening of learning and meaningful connections.

Led by personal branding specialist Amos Mak, the session introduced the 3-Pillar Framework: Clarity, Consistency, and Visibility, equipping participants with practical insights to define and communicate their professional identity.

A key highlight was the panel discussion with industry leaders: Joyce Cuff, Tay Lay Keow, Lee Jin Hwui, and Jernet Tan, who shared valuable perspectives on career growth and authentic personal branding.

The evening also fostered strong alumni networking, with attendees reconnecting and building new professional relationships over dinner.

Overall, the session empowered alumni to take a more intentional approach to their personal brand while strengthening the RMIT community.
