Students from lower socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds are not a homogeneous group. A NIE-led study reveals diverse developmental pathways among lower SES students, offering deeper insights into the challenges and strengths of different student groups.
The interim findings contribute to ongoing efforts to strengthen educational equity and social mobility in Singapore.

Congratulations to Prof Low Ee Ling, President's Chair Professor in Education, Dean of Academic & Faculty Affairs (AFA) for being elected as the President of the International Academy of Education (IAE).
The IAE which is based in Berlin, comprises elected fellows who are highly established global education scholars and is dedicated to advancing excellence in educational research and practice. The Academy holds an annual assembly meeting featuring thematic panels and outreach sessions.
