Mr Kulkarni Swanand Mahesh graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University and completed a research internship at IIT Bombay before joining the NUS M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (MPST) programme. Drawn by MPSTโs balance of scientific rigor and industry relevance, he sought to deepen his expertise in formulation development, drug delivery, and regulatory frameworks while learning to translate ideas into practical healthcare solutions. The programme deepened his technical skills in formulation science, biomedical analysis, and product development, while also building transferable strengths through interdisciplinary projects, including leadership, clear scientific communication, strategic problem solving, and strong time management.
"MPST is a transformative launchpad that blends strong scientific grounding with hands-on learning through real-world case studies, applied projects, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Graduates are grounded in pharmaceutical science and equipped with the adaptability and problem-solving mindset that are valued across industry, research institutes, and academia."
Just like Swanand, you too can embark on this incredible journey. Find out more about the MPST programme here: https://nus.edu/3Ii1IbZ

HEYY INCOMING PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE FRESHMEN!!
Introducing ๐งฌ Pharm Orientation Camp 22026: ANAMNฮSIS ๐ง
Four patients from four different clans awaken side by side in run-down hospital beds, suffering from memory loss. They are informed that they are currently undergoing treatment for exposure to a toxic drug. However, the longer the patients rest, the more uneasy they feel. They feel that something is amiss. Powered by curiosity and fear, the patients decide to set off into the unknown and investigate the truth themselves.
Rivalry between the patients run deep as fight or flight instincts are at an all-time high. The clock is ticking: will they overcome their differences and work together, or will they stay trapped in the facility? ๐ป๐ซฃ

Community pharmacists are playing an increasingly important role in improving access to vaccination services in Singapore.
Last Thursday (21 May), our latest cohort of pharmacists completed the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate Training Program at NUS, developing practical skills in vaccine delivery, patient screening, and safe immunization practice through hands-on training. Led by Prof Paul Gallagher and A/Prof Christine Teng, the program also featured valuable practice insights from Ms Wu Weijie of Guardian Health & Beautyย and the Community Pharmacist Influenza Vaccination Sandbox initiative.
Programmes like this help strengthen the contribution of community pharmacists to preventive care and public health.

We hope that our attendees had a great time at the Cardiometabolic, Renal & dIabetes Optimisation Unified Services (C-RIOUS) Workshop last week! The intensive three-day program brought together a multidisciplinary panel of experts to share invaluable insights into cardiometabolic diseases. A major highlight was the clinical shadowing gained by our learners, who observed real-life cases across diverse clinical disciplines, from diabetes nursing (continuous glucose monitoring), to ophthalmology, cardiology, nephrology and also physiotherapy and dietetics!!

Missed out this time? We welcome any healthcare professional - general practitioner, nurses, podiatrists, pharmacists - to join us for our next cohort. Stay tuned for updates!ย
