*PSG Term 2 Wrap-Up*
As we close the chapter on an incredible Term 2, we look back on a season filled with community spirit, resilience, and a vibrant array of school events. From memorable stage performances to the heartfelt warmth of our Project Flower initiative, the term was rich with meaningful experiences and lasting memories.
Beyond the arts, the college remained focused on growth and future pathways for our students. Through the Annual Career and Industry Scholarship Symposium, students explored diverse opportunities and gained valuable insights from alumni and PSG parent speakers. At the same time, they geared up for an active lifestyle through the exclusive PSG Campus Sales👟💼
Parents, too, had opportunities to learn and grow, gaining valuable perspectives on supporting their children through the ECG PSG Parents’ Workshop. Meanwhile, Project Flower brought joy and gratitude across the campus, as students surprised their loved ones with beautiful blooms and heartfelt handmade creations. 🌸❤️
We wrapped up the term on an energetic note! 🍌🏃♂️ Through Project Banana, our amazing PSG Daddies brought plenty of bananas, laughter, and enthusiasm to the morning fitness challenges, building excitement ahead of the ASR iHeart Run. It was heartening to see PSG parents, students, and college staff come together in support of a meaningful cause.
We were especially proud to witness our talented students shine through their performances. It was equally inspiring to see school leaders, teachers, parents, and families rally behind them, offering encouragement and support every step of the way. This strong partnership between home and school continues to motivate our students to strive for excellence and give their very best.
Thank you to all our school leaders, teachers, students, and parent volunteers for making this term such a memorable one. Let us continue to support, encourage, and uplift one another as we look forward to the opportunities and experiences that await in the next term.

Wellness is more than just a moment. It is a way of life.
This year’s Wellness Week, “Wellness 360°: Unlock Your Full Wellness Potential”, brought together social, physical and mental well-being to help students thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Organised by the Community Champions Council (CCC) and Peer Support Leaders (PSLs), the week empowered students with practical strategies for everyday life.
From reflecting on sleep habits during CCE lessons to learning from speakers at the Wellness Symposium, students explored ways to manage stress, build connections and care for their health.
The lively Wellness Fair and a screening of Inside Out 2 made self-care engaging and meaningful for all.

Closing English Week on a high note, Literature Night 2026 took centre stage as a vibrant two-hour showcase of musical performances, dramatic acts, and live singing.
Anchored in this year’s theme, “Someone Else’s Story”, the production explored both the beauty and tragedy of different lives, while illuminating what it means to be human. Each performance offered a glimpse into perspectives beyond our own, inviting the audience to reflect on the shared emotions that connect us all.
Put together entirely by ASRJC’s Literature community, the show was a testament to the talent, creativity, and dedication of its members. Beyond this, it reflected the strength of a community where students are empowered to express their voices on stage and collaborate meaningfully with one another.
Far from being just a performance, Lit Night became a space for discovery and connection — where Literature came alive in new and engaging forms, and where stories, in all their complexity, brought people closer together.

English Week 2026 brought the college community together in a vibrant celebration of language, creativity, and expression. Held in Term 2, Week 1, this year’s theme, “Stories,” invited students to reflect on the many ways stories shape perspectives, identities, and connections through a dynamic line-up of programmes.
The week opened with the Inter-House Oratorical Competition, where students delivered compelling speeches on thought-provoking issues. Through personal experiences and social observations, they brought their ideas to life, showing how stories can powerfully engage and influence an audience. Their clarity, rhetorical flair, and persuasive delivery reflected strong critical thinking and expressive skill.
Across the week, students were also engaged through Morning Sharings, which highlighted the beauty of the English language through three strands: song lyrics, word play, and the evolution of words. These short sessions offered a daily moment of reflection, helping students appreciate how language continues to change and how it can be enjoyed in creative and meaningful ways.
Students also explored written expression through the annual INKit! Writing Competition, featuring Prose, Poetry, and Opinion categories. Winning entries were displayed throughout the week, showcasing a rich range of voices and reminding readers of the many forms stories can take on the page.
The celebrations concluded with an English Carnival outside the library and an Open Mic session indoors. Student-run booths ranging from rhythm-based word challenges to storytelling and word games offered interactive ways to engage with language. At the Open Mic, staff and students shared music, comedy, and spoken word, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere.
Ultimately, English Week 2026 celebrated the many ways stories are told—through speech, writing, and performance—reminding the community of their power to connect, inspire, and give voice to diverse experiences.
