Today, we were delighted to welcome more than 20 publishing professionals from a government-owned textbook publisher in Vietnam to SL Education.

During their visit, we shared insights into Singapore’s textbook publishing landscape, as well as our digital learning solutions, including eBooks and educational resources. We also discussed how artificial intelligence (AI) is being applied in textbook publishing to support content development, improve learning experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.

It was a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, and we look forward to strengthening connections within the education publishing community.

We are proud to celebrate the launch of Nová Matematika (think! Mathematics) in Slovakia by RAABE Slovakia, a publishing arm of the Klett Group.

As the first country within the Klett Group in Europe to adopt the Singapore Mathematics approach, Slovakia marks an exciting milestone in bringing high-quality mathematics education to more classrooms.

We are especially proud that our Chief Editor, Andrea Kang, was invited to speak on “Singapore: The Economic Miracle and Its Story of Mathematics Education”, sharing insights on the evolving role of educators in developing mathematical thinking.

What can teachers do to transform mathematics learning?
At a recent session in Puerto Montt (24 May 2026), three simple but powerful classroom practices were shared:�• Exploration through a problem�• Discussing students’ methods�• Mathematics journal writing
These approaches are grounded in learning theories and research, yet practical for everyday teaching. While often associated with the “Singapore method”, this problem-solving approach is, in truth, universal.
The session sparked lively discussion—from sustainability of implementation to its use in secondary schools. A key takeaway: meaningful change requires direction, push, and support.
One example shared was exploring the sum of interior angles of polygons using hands-on cut-outs—bringing mathematical thinking to life in the classroom.
