A few days ago, we attended the Chingay Appreciation Dinner and were honored to receive the Chingay Champion of the Year award alongside some of Singapore's most esteemed drumming ensembles (, .singapura, .serentak).

A heartfelt thank you to everyone we collaborated with, and here's to more in the years to come! 🥁

Happy International Women's Day! ✨Today, we celebrate the incredible women in our group who have been at the heart of everything we do.

Our team has one of the largest numbers of Indian women in an Indian drumming ensemble. We're proud to see our women inspiring others to follow their passions, embrace their culture, and stay true to their identities. You are breaking barriers, creating change, and showing the world the power of determination and self-expression.

A wonderful collaboration with that gave me the platform to share my experience in Traditional Indian Drumming with aspiring and seasoned music composers. The deep dialogue on the limiting views of Indian music and it’s true potential and depth resonates deeply with me and the work I do.

A special one for us as Parai makes it debut in this national event, performed by Our Grade 3 students in collaboration with our partners .singapura , and .serentak! The dedication of our students and the support of their families continues to push Damaru in representing the SG Indian community at the highest levels 💪🏾

What an incredible experience it was to take the stage and share the energy with all of you, opening for Kalaa Utsavam this year. From the very first to the final beat, we poured our heart and soul into showcasing our diverse artforms and the journey we've had in the industry so far.
