Insightful presentations during our recent session highlighted a powerful truth. Managing communication breakdowns isn’t just about fixing problems. It’s about elevating the entire hospitality experience. Every clear message strengthens teamwork, protects service flow, and ensures guests feel the consistency and care that define great hospitality.
We also gained valuable insights from Mr James, whose fruitful closing talk reminded managers that juggling multiple projects is not a burden. It’s a leadership opportunity. Focus grows when we choose priorities with intention, channel our energy with discipline, and lead our teams with calm clarity. Strong managers don’t rush through tasks. They create direction, momentum, and confidence for everyone around them. Keep moving forward and upward together!

A full and fulfilling day with our managers and managers‑in‑training as we gear up for the upcoming August MICE event, complemented by an insightful career talk on how to harness the energy of storms to accelerate your professional growth. After a strong round of presentations, we headed straight to the next city for more meetings. Keeping the pace high, the discipline sharp, and the standards unwavering.
Ending the day with dinner together reminded us once again that the strength of the GEA Team, no matter which city we are in comes from how we work, learn, and grow side by side. Momentum continues and excellence remains our baseline. Keep moving forward and upward together.

Special thanks to our GEA Family for preparing the surprise birthday celebration for Mr James. Your kindness, teamwork, and thoughtfulness made the day truly meaningful. As we grow older, the goal is not just to add years, but to add wisdom, clarity, and purpose to the journey ahead.
We also had an engaging and powerful session reflecting on how to break past our limits in our career. Every challenge we face is an invitation to rise higher, every obstacle is a reminder of our potential, and every step, no matter how small shapes the leader we are becoming.
Together, we continue building a GEA culture where courage is practiced, growth is celebrated, and each member is empowered to push beyond what they once believed was possible. Keep moving forward and upward together!

Great to have Ms Sherelene, who has been with us for many years and continues to grow alongside GEA, share about her collaborative project with The Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD) and NUS. Moments like these remind us why our work matters. When those who have learnt, grown, and built their foundations with us return to contribute, it reflects the true spirit of the GEA community.
It is always a proud and deeply meaningful milestone to witness our own people achieving success, stepping into greater purpose, and coming back to uplift the next generation of leaders. This is how a strong community is built through shared experience, continuous learning, and the commitment to give back.
To all our rising leaders, let Ms Sherelene’s journey be a reminder that growth is never a solo path. Stay curious, stay courageous, and keep moving forward and upward together.
