We don’t consider vocal habits as defects to overcome. Vocal problems are patterns to notice with care, because the voice is produced in the context of a specific human body
body.

Welcome to Vocalogy, where we combine wellness with functional voice training to enhance holistic well-being in mind and body. We never stop improving.
Vocalogy is an innovative business that incorporates both metaphysical and nervous system-based concepts into voice lessons. The result- quick and holistic resolution of voice projects. Voice projects such as singing off-pitch, tight throat etc. are a result of the disruption to the f
Voice work isn’t just for singing. It shows up when you apologize, ask for help, or set a boundary
Your voice reacts to the room before your mind finishes the story. Safety, threat, judgment, and pressure all shape breath and tone before conscious choice.
Not all change starts when you push against something.
Same body, same notes. Completely different results. What changes in the room around you an change what your voice Is willing to do.
I’ve stopped treating the voice like a sound problem first. If tension keeps showing up, ! want to understand the person making the sound before I chase technique.
Try this: say ‘Something I genuinely love is...’ and then ‘Something I feel I should say is...’ Listen to what changes. Your voice responds to the relationship.
The voice is a product of the lived experience of the singer.

Singapore is often called a “little red dot.”
We grew up in a small country that became remarkably good at achieving, competing, adapting and succeeding.
But perhaps there is another question worth asking:
What did we learn about taking up space?
Not physical space.
Psychological space.
The space to disagree.
The space to be heard.
The space to say what we actually think.
The space to be imperfect.
The space to express emotion.
The space to become fully ourselves.
And sometimes, those lessons don’t stay in our heads.
They enter the body.
They can show up in how we breathe, how loudly we speak, how much resonance we allow, whether we apologise before expressing an opinion, or whether our voice changes when someone important enters the room.
Perhaps being a little red dot doesn’t mean we have to make ourselves smaller.
Happy National Day, Singapore.
May we continue to grow—not only in what we achieve, but in how fully we allow ourselves to be heard.
A better voice should never come at the expense of a kinder relationship with ourselves.
