The Association’s work has been recognized by the Singapore Sports Council in their Sports Education Programme, the National Arts Council’s Art Education Programme and the People’s Association through the capoeira lessons in the local community centre for members of the public. Starting May 2017, Association of Capoeira Argola de Ouro(S) officially changes its name to Association of Capoeira Art Canarana(S). It retains same UEN number, T02SS0011H. All committee's members and classes remain
The new name adopted to give homage to the hometown/origin of Master Ousado as association's founder.
