At present, 5 key centres and the Silicon Photonics Affiliated Programme come under the umbrella of this institute:

•Centre for Optical Fibre Technology (COFT)

•Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT)

•Centre for Optical & Laser Engineering (COLE)

•Centre of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays (LUMINOUS!)

•Centre for OptoElectronics and Biophotonics (COEB)

At TPI, we aim to establish a cradle of scholarship, research and innovation - making the transition from fundamental science to applied science.
