Introducing our Secretary-General, Arshul!

An old man at heart, truly a phrase a defines Arshul. A JC2 student from Victoria Junior College, Arshul finds that he has aged more than his physical age, often being ridiculed for his liking of oatmeal rasin cookies from Subway. Being his 3rd year with OPMUN, Arshul fell in love with the conference's unique ability to spark conversations and breed compassion amongst youth in Singapore. He believes firmly in it's theme of inspiring "Champions of Society", chasing his vision of more harmonious and inclusive Singapore where no one needs to grow up feeling ashamed of their identity, regardless of race, language or religion. He is confident that with his amazing secretariat, chairs and project leaders by his side, OPMUN has much in store to bring delegates this year, finally in person after a 2-year online medium. He looks forward to welcoming all of you there!

Having spent way too long oscillating in the depths of the MUNiverse, round trips around the circuit have left some distinctly recognisable characteristics on Alysa. Perhaps it is her insatiable appetite for “intellectually-stimulating” conversations, all-too-frequent non-PC commentary on the next travesty to behold this planet earth, or a begrudging acceptance of the term . Also a Year 5 student atRaffles Institution, Alysa enjoys relatively ‘normal’ hobbies, like running, dragging her friends out on spontaneous adventures, and playing the guitar (preferably at 2am).

This being her third year with OPMUN, she quips that the O in OPMUN stands for Ohana, and is grateful to the OPfamily that has kept her coming back each year. She hopes that delegates are looking forward to the conference as much as she is, and forge invaluable friendships at OPMUN 2022!

Introducing our Deputy Secretary General of Academics, Jacie!

Suffering massively from her return back to university, Jacie is facing a massively overloaded semester while simultaneously working and dabbling in whatever NTU offers - anything for the hall points - to prevent her from being homeless. She is very honoured to have been given yet another chance to work with her friends at a conference, and make new ones along the way. She can usually be contactable (literally) anytime online.
