Here is a little of Dweck's wisdom. Learn more about the interesting stuff at the event on 14 January 2012.

Pass on news of the event to old class mates. BTW read the following article from the NYT. It contains sound advice to all of us.

Of the many mistakes I have no doubt made over the last few weeks, two stand out: One cost me money and one cost me some pride.

Our Final MBIT Book Club event Sat 14 Jan 2012 at SIM 5.00-7.00pm

Dear MBIT Colleagues
As some of you are aware, RMIT has decided to teach out the MBIT over the next 15 months.

Consequently, our January 2012 book event is most likely to be our final gathering of this type.

I therefore invite you to this important rite of passage.

To mark the occasion, I decided to feature the book Mindset by Carol Dweck because of its practical significance. It contains important lessons for all of us drawn from Dweck’s research conducted over the last 30 years.

We look forward to seeing you. Pass the word along to former classmates.

Warm regards
Barry McIntyre

Dweck's masterful account of her research has important practical implications for all of us regardless of the roles we choose to perform in life.

This is a significant book that you are well advised to read and discuss and then act upon its lessons.

Join us on 14 Jan.

Meanwhile use your social networks to get the message out to MBIT alumni. We want a bumper turnout. :-)
