Campus rule #1: Never trust someone who says “I’m not hungry” before walking past the food courts 🍜😭
From affordable comfort food to sweet treats, coffee runs, and “just one snack” that turns into a full meal… We’ve got your back for very mood, budget, and post-class debrief session - including a bowlful of coriander 😱

Today, SIM Global Education (SIM GE) was honoured to formalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with McDonald's Singapore — marking a meaningful step towards empowering talent through education.
For many, McDonald’s is a familiar brand that has been part of our everyday lives. But for countless individuals, it is also where careers begin, leadership is developed, and opportunities are created.
This partnership reflects a shared belief between our organisations: that investing in people creates lasting impact. Through this collaboration, selected high-potential employees at McDonald’s Singapore will have the opportunity to pursue studies at SIM, while continuing to work — with full sponsorship support from the organisation. At the same time, this partnership opens valuable pathways for SIM learners to gain real-world exposure at a leading F&B brand through industry opportunities and deepen the connection between learning and workplace application.
We were privileged to witness this milestone alongside Professor Jorg Bley, Provost of SIM Global Education, SIM Global Education leadership team, and the management team from McDonald’s Singapore, including Ms Melanie Lim, Chief Operating Officer, their dedicated team and the many extraordinary people from both side, without whom, this event wouldn't have happened! Thank you to the team at McDonald's Singapore for the partnership opportunities!

A memorable milestone for the SIM community in Taiwan.
We were delighted to host the inaugural SIM Taiwan Alumni Gathering, bringing together alumni from different graduating cohorts, industries, and backgrounds for an evening of reconnection, networking, and celebration. As the first gathering of its kind in Taiwan, the event marked an important step in strengthening SIM's alumni community and fostering meaningful connections among graduates living and working across the market.
Throughout the evening, alumni shared stories of personal and professional growth, reflected on their SIM journey, and explored opportunities to support one another as part of a lifelong global network.
Thank you to all alumni who joined us and made this inaugural gathering such a memorable occasion. We look forward to growing an even stronger SIM alumni community in Taiwan in the years ahead.

Growth beyond the classroom often comes from the experiences that challenge us to step outside our comfort zones. For Berlyn Koh, balancing academics, part-time work, student leadership, and touch rugby at SIM Global Education became an opportunity to grow in resilience, adaptability, and confidence.
From taking on leadership roles in student initiatives to exploring content creation and digital outreach for SIM Titans Touch Rugby, Berlyn’s journey reflects how learning can extend far beyond academics and shape valuable skills for the future.
As a recipient of the SIM Award, a programme under the SIM Impact Fund, she continues to pursue her aspirations with discipline, purpose, and a desire to create meaningful impact in the communities around her. Read more about Berlyn’s journey at https://ow.ly/eCYU50ZbAU8.

🌏 Bringing educators together to shape the future of learning.
SIM Global Education was proud to co-host the inaugural Regional Educators Conference Taiwan 2026 in partnership with the Primary and Secondary School International Educational Exchange Alliance (IEEA), with the support of Taiwan's Ministry of Education (MOE). Over three days, educators, school leaders, counsellors, and policymakers from across Asia came together to exchange ideas, build connections, and explore the future of education.
Under the theme Teaching for Tomorrow: Education in Practice for a Changing World, participants discussed:
📚 Transnational Education
🌍 Global Competence
💡 Social and Emotional Learning
🤖 Artificial Intelligence in Education
🤝 International partnerships and student mobility
A special highlight was the MOU signing ceremony between SIM Global Education and seven high schools in Central Taiwan, marking an important step towards deeper educational collaboration and expanded opportunities for students.
Thank you to IEEA, Taiwan's Ministry of Education, our speakers, partners, and delegates for making this inaugural conference a meaningful success. We look forward to continuing the conversations and strengthening educational partnerships across the region.
