This year, our students pushed the boundaries of creativity and technical skill, tackling real-world problems through a variety of lenses. While the event featured an impressive range of work—including Computer Science Applications, Genius Hour, and Yearbook—our students' Model Making capstones were a true standout.

From 2D sketches to detailed 3D architectural models, it was incredible to watch our students apply principles of aesthetics, structure, and spatial awareness to bring their "Dream Homes" and community parks to life. 🏠🌳

At ICS, we believe that creativity is a reflection of God’s character. Whether they are writing code, designing layouts, or prototyping buildings, our students are learning to use their gifts to serve others, solve problems, and steward creation with wisdom and purpose.

Our end-of-year recap isn’t over yet! 🗓️ Here's our Grade 7 Design Technology students wrapping up their final project by presenting an Easter marketing pitch to judges from Frans & Fam Cafe (two of whom are also part of the creative agency, Yellow Octopus).

Stepping into real industry roles—from Graphic Designers to Copywriters and Marketing Specialists—the students, with the guidance of our teacher, Mr. Francois, developed full event concepts after much product research and analysis:

💡 Menu design & promotional posters
💡 Merchandise & video storyboards

The work was so impressive that the judges crowned an overall winning team, and even extended internship invitations to some students!

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮 (𝗚𝟭𝟮) | 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 & 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 - Ms. Chiara greeted students at morning drop-off, conducted classroom visits, and made the ultimate executive decision: granting everyone a Free Dress Day!

𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝟱) | 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 - Mr. Leon stepped into Mr. Goh’s shoes for the day, managing classroom observations, encouraging teachers, and supervising lunch.

𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹 (𝗚𝟰) | 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 - Ms. Pearl took over the Library & Media Center by creating a mini-lesson plan, sharing book recommendations, and hosting a special storytime for our youngest learners.

Who says kids get to have all the fun? Our Elementary Learning Showcase brought parents right into the action of our Related Arts classes!

Families got their hands messy sculpting unique masterpieces in Clay Art, and teamed up to do creative projects in Inquiry & Digital Design. The energy stayed high as everyone listened to the rhythm of the drum in Music, and hit the gym floor for some action-packed P.E. Games.
