And that’s a wrap on our Holiday Programme for Term 2!
What a wonderful few days filled with outdoor games, sensory play, music, laughter and plenty of learning along the way. From exploring numbers through hands-on activities to playing Snakes and Ladders and watching our counters move up as we counted on and slide down as we counted backwards, every moment was packed with fun and discovery.
Most importantly, we made memories, built friendships and enjoyed learning through play. Thank you to all students for bringing such enthusiasm and joy each day, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and can’t wait to do it all again!
Have a wonderful holiday and we will see you all in Term 3!

Every child learns differently, and sometimes a little extra support can make a big difference!
If your child is experiencing challenges with focus, emotional regulation, social interactions or making progress despite additional support, it may be a sign that they would benefit from a learning environment tailored to their unique needs.
At Melbourne International School, we provide an inclusive, nurturing and individualised approach that helps children build confidence, develop essential skills and thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
Because when children feel understood, supported and empowered, they can reach their full potential. Book a school tour today!

What a great first week at our Sensory Math Camp!
This week, children explored mathematical concepts through hands-on sensory experiences. From creating cityscape reflections and investigating symmetry through art to counting, comparing and sequencing during games and daily routines, learning was woven into every activity.
Through outdoor play, Snakes and Ladders, homemade rattles and The Ants Go Marching-inspired artwork, children discovered patterns, rhythm, counting and creativity while building collaboration, problem-solving and early numeracy skills.
We can’t wait to see what discoveries Week 2 will bring!

The Early Years programme at Melbourne International School is unique.
The small teacher to student ratio, and push in and pull out Speech and Occupational Therapy sessions are designed to offer early intervention support within a school environment.
This allows for the skills learnt to be applied in an actual setting and allows for smoother transition to a mainstream or special education school.

Happening tomorrow! 30 April 2026, 8pm (SGT).
Join a FREE webinar featuring Melbourne International School’s Founder, Jayne Nadarajoo, as she shares why choosing the right early years environment matters even more for children with diverse learning needs. With so many approaches available, it can be challenging to understand what truly supports inclusion, development, and overall wellbeing.
Established in 2014, Melbourne International School was founded with a clear purpose: to give every child access to high-quality education tailored to their individual needs, so they can achieve, aspire, and succeed. This session reflects that commitment, offering families practical insights to make confident, informed decisions.

If you’re researching early years schools, you’ve probably noticed that every school describes itself slightly differently. Play-based, Reggio-inspired, Montessori, Forest School… but what do these mean in practice, and how do you tell which is right for your child?
