🌟 Our lower primary students are having so much fun exploring and growing together! By keeping the joy of learning at the heart of what we do, our teachers incorporate play, experiential, and authentic activities into daily lessons. 🎨 Through purposeful play, curious minds are engaged, allowing students to collaborate and creatively apply what they have learned. 🌍 We use authentic scenarios to help students discover knowledge and skills that they can use in everyday life. This helps children connect classroom lessons to the real world, making their learning meaningful. Check out the video to see our proud little learners growing and adapting every single day! ❤️

Our Primary 5 students recently gathered for a meaningful assembly following their Combined Camp experience! We revisited the camp’s key objectives and celebrated how our students demonstrated Adaptive Thinking - navigating new environments, adjusting to challenges, and supporting one another through unfamiliar situations. Their strong sense of belonging was evident in the way they looked out for their peers and worked together as one. A special highlight was the video montage, capturing moments of self-directedness and a true will to act - as students embraced outdoor adventures, took initiative, and stepped confidently out of their comfort zones. We also recognised our Best Campers, who exemplified care, respect, and adaptability across different situations, uplifting those around them. Well done to our Primary 5 students for making this Combined School camp a meaningful and enriching experience for all! ✨

The Cub Scouts had an enriching outdoor learning experience at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park last Saturday. Using maps, they navigated through the park to locate various checkpoints and worked together to answer trivia questions related to their surroundings, such as identifying features within the park and understanding park regulations. Although they initially took a wrong turn, the Cub Scouts demonstrated resilience and teamwork by finding their way back on track. The journey was physically demanding, but the Scouts remained positive and engaged throughout. They also had the opportunity to appreciate the natural environment and observe wildlife along the way, making it a meaningful and enjoyable experience.

Termly School Values Star Student Award – Graciousness
This award recognises students who demonstrate graciousness in their words and actions. Guided by the belief, “I will be gracious in my speech and actions,” they practise good manners and treat others with respect and kindness. By treating others the way they wish to be treated, they contribute to a caring and inclusive school environment. Through their daily conduct, they model graciousness and strengthen a sense of belonging within the school community. May their examples inspire others to practise graciousness—by speaking kindly, acting thoughtfully, and putting others before self.

We are very happy to share that our choir, Cantonment Voices, has achieved a **Distinction** at the recently concluded Singapore Youth Festival (S*F) 2026 - Arts Presentation. This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support, encouragement, and understanding from the school and our supportive parents. Thank you for accommodating our rehearsals, supporting the students, and believing in their journey. Most importantly, our students have shown incredible commitment, discipline, and heart throughout this process. This achievement truly belongs to the entire school community. 💛

🎭 Lights up on Cantonment Primary! We are proud to have been part of a historic moment — the inaugural S*F Arts Presentation (Drama) 2026 at Gateway Theatre! 🎉 Six talented P5 students performed "I Shall Sing" with enthusiasm, confidence, and joy. The adjudicators praised their clarity of speech, lively stage presence, and the wonderful teamwork and cohesion that made them shine as one unified unit. More than the performance, it's the journey that counts — and what a journey it has been. To our young performers — you made Cantonment proud. This is just the beginning. 💙

The STEM Challenge Marble Run brought out the creativity and determination of our students as they designed and built their own marble runs at home and in school. In the process, students applied STEM concepts to turn ideas into working designs. Through testing, tweaking and trying again, they demonstrated adaptive thinking—spotting problems, making improvements, and pushing their designs further. They also showed strong self-directed learning, taking charge of their ideas, experimenting with materials, and persevering through challenges. Each marble run tells a story of effort, imagination and growth. Show your support by tapping “Like” now!

Last week, our students participated in an engaging school assembly programme titled “Bring Out the Thoughtfulness in You and Me,” made possible with the support of the Land Transport Authority (LTA). Through a lively musical performance by PlayINC, students explored how to practise graciousness in their daily commuting, especially on public transport. Through dramatised scenarios, they observed thoughtful and inconsiderate behaviours, and reflected on how their actions impact others. The programme highlighted simple ways to show respect and care, such as giving up seats and being mindful of noise. Our students were encouraged to be active contributors, creating a positive ripple effect through their choices and building towards a more caring and inclusive community.
