You boys are GOLDEN!

It's a wrap for 2025 competitions for M. Had been a fruitful year full with tears, sweats, feeling down, fighting back and definitely a lot of laughters and friendships are bond!

Thank you for the guidance from coaches of Johan Taekwondo, the team spirit passes down from the seniors, not forgeting the loves and cares and food/drinks from the supportive parents.

- Mother-Son convo -

Me: 1 to 10, how do you rate mummy being a mom to you?

M: 8.7

Me: wow that's high! So what can I do to be a 10?

M: let's break it down. 0.3 I hope you are able to cook a litttllllle more often like once a week or once every 2 weeks. Just a little more. I want to help you in Themormix, and cook ABC soup together (OK that's all I know).

Then 0.5, play boardgames with me. We seldom play boardgames together nowadays.

The last 0.5 is don't worry about me too much.

Me: but I am your mom.

M: but you had been taking care of me for so long and now I've grown up, when I grew up you and daddy age too. So is time for me to take care of you now. I want you to take care of yourself first.

Me: ........(what they need is really simple, time together)

I had to agree with his form teacher that he has a significant improvement and personal development over the last few months. I need to get to know him again.

Continue to grow and you are doing well my boy. I'm so proud of you!

I can't stress how important it is for Financial literacy, as one important life skills we should be teaching and learning.

Cultivate a happy, prosperous child through nurturing transparency, gratitude and generosity in them since young.

Because of my job, I always have to constantly hack my own limiting belief and today another moment for me.

Every year the 4Q, I always try to impact another few more life (especially female) so I close my year beautifully and happily.

So these last few months whenever I have the opportunity talking to a someone, I will just ask her if she wants to join me for talk about MONEY....and life lol.

Some might caught off guard because who on earth will just go round and ask if they are interested to talk about this taboo topic?

Then I asked myself, why not? Because for me to ask, what is the worst? She said no and is status quo to me, no gain no lost. Yet, I won't know one day after I pop the question (like proposing haha) and that is what the person needs the most at the moment? That's what I call impacting one life at a time.

Just like this photo, I shot it on a day out for a walk and at the turn into this corner, the sun rays shine through this majestic tree and I was like wow by what I saw. We never know what is there at the corner waiting for us, but view it positively and you will find that the world is still beautiful and full of people like me. Haha pardon my skill of capturing photo...

Now, who wants to have a talk? Call me...maybe...🥰🥰🥰

Just when we thought we are moving out from Q3 and now we are 2 steps back again to HBL and WFH at the start of Q4.

So proud of him that he is on schedule according to his first goal. He wanna to achieve his 1st Dan when he turns 7.

Not going to lie that some days he will complain before he goes to his training. Yet, when he think about his goals, he would just go on and do it. Most of the time, it is like going to school for him, it cam be fun, it can be boring, but it's a routine training.

Same goes to mama, got so much to learn from this little man. Everything that we do, set goals, continue the work and we will not be far away from the goals.

(P/s: It's been awhile since we last took photo going out together. Harder to get the little man to take a proper shot with me.)

回忆录

看着翔翔一天一天的长大, 一个念头一直断断续续的浮现在我的脑海里. 我想在他上小学以前带他去旅行学习, 不是单纯的出国旅游，而是比较深入的了解当地的人文,历史,生活,语言, 从而了解到如何与不同的民族相处, 更了解世界的大环境.

但因工作关系 这个本来就是个极不可能实现的梦. 机缘巧合之下因工作生活疲劳 我毅然决定离开了我引以为豪的工作岗位 给了自己一年的休息时间. 就这样我马上安排了一场说走就走的旅行 (说穿了其实就是订机票而已 哈哈 并且还放生了我家男人).就这样 我们展开了我两的母子之旅.

在那一年里我过了人生中最自由的一年 每天睡醒就是安排一天去哪里学习 去哪里长见识. 但也在那一年里 我提早体验了所谓退休过后的日子. 本来退休的概念就是吃香喝辣加环游世界 但那一年里我看到本身自以为了不起的储蓄一天一天的减少, 开始了解到 没有收入就是吃老本 了解到为什么有些人说打工要做到老 只能死不能病 等等的 让我深深体验到个人理财的重要性也因为这样造就了现在的我: 就是尽我所能帮助和我以前一样的事业女性和妈妈避免/减少那永无止境的夹于选择工作和家庭之间 必须时时和自己拔河. 我们都希望我们可以把两边都照顾好. 但其实除了工作和家庭 人生还有很多其他的东西 女性同胞很多时候会直接或间接把我们自己的梦想埋没了 因为 时间不够用! 要学会适时的请求帮忙 多听多问 看其他人走过的冤枉路 我们从中学习.

个人理财是我们人生中很重要的一环 但可惜的是我们的成长系统里没有这么一门课 所以我也希望可以培养我们的下一代这一门知识. 最重要的是要愿意参与和理财决定 因为如果我没有开始做理财决定 那不管学了多少 都于事无补.

梦想因为能实现而伟大而美满 有时为了生活我们无可避免的面对现实 但好好开始想自己的梦想 开始管理自己的钱财 就是为未来实现梦想踏出的第一步.

影片是我们学习台湾其中一个传统文化 - 布袋戏. 前几天翻了翻旧照片开始怀念那段我们在台湾生活个月里的点滴 也回味了那段之后日子的幸酸. 学会了其实如果没有钱 这一切都不可能发生 因为我必须为了生活而忙碌 根本没有时间去谈理想. 女性朋友们 大家一起加油!

To me, retirement does not mean I stop work completely. It means I have enough so that I can do what I like or work on something that makes me happy without worrying about where to find money to put food on the table.

Most of us, we work hard now so that we can have a better future, better life. Yet, most of us have this mindset of enjoy the present and let the future take cares by itself. That is really a DREAM that is hard to come true.

We build dream and we work on the dream. We want something in the future, we have to work through the present.

Now pause and think, why are you working so hard now, what is it for?
