✨ Learning starts with understanding. ✨
At Holland International School, assessments aren't just about measuring grades—they’re about truly knowing each child. Where are they now? What do they excel at? What is their next exciting milestone?
We look at the whole picture using two approaches throughout the year:
Formative Check-ins: Little daily observations that help our teachers adapt lessons in real-time while learning is actively happening. Summative Milestones: A big-picture view of growth and achievements over time.
Ultimately, it all comes back to one key question: How can we help your child thrive? By unlocking their unique strengths, we can provide the exact support and challenges they need.
Because assessment isn’t the final destination—it’s the launching pad for growth.

🌙✨ Warm Wishes for Hari Raya Haji 🐏✨
What is Hari Raya Haji?
Hari Raya Haji is also known as Eid al-Adha, a special day celebrated by Muslims around the world.
What does it remember?
It marks the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, called the Hajj, and remembers the story of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who showed deep faith and trust in God. It is a reminder of kindness, gratitude, and caring for others.
What food is enjoyed?
Families often prepare and share delicious meals such as grilled lamb or goat, biryani, kebabs, curries, rice dishes, and sweet treats. A special part of the celebration is sharing food generously with family, friends, and those in need.
How is it celebrated?
Families gather for special prayers, share meals together, and give to charity. It is a time of reflection, generosity, and togetherness.
At HIS, we are proud to celebrate the many cultures and traditions that make our school so special.
Wishing all our families celebrating a joyful and meaningful Hari Raya Haji! 🌙💛
Eid Mubarak!
