As Teachers’ Day approaches, I find myself thinking about the many students who have passed through my classroom over the years.

Some of you were with me in primary school, some in secondary school—and today, many of you have grown into young adults, building lives and journeys of your own.

As teachers, we do not always get to see where life eventually takes our students. But every student remains a small part of our story.

If I have taught you before, I would be truly happy to hear from you. Drop me a DM and let me know how you are doing and where life has taken you. Even a simple “Hello, Mr Lim” would mean a lot. 😊

An early Teacher’s Day surprise

A heartfelt thank you to the parent and student who surprised us with this thoughtful Teacher’s Day gift.

The gift is lovely, but the handwritten message means even more. Seeing a student grow in confidence, improve in Mathematics and progress to G3 Math is the kind of gift that reminds us why we teach.

At AZKEN, we’ve always believed that teaching is more than lessons, worksheets and results. It’s about being part of a student’s journey and, hopefully, making a small difference along the way.
