Like the , where historic architecture houses timeless masterpieces, our exhibition brings fresh voices into this iconic space, artworks that echo, converse, and find kinship with the gallery’s collection. ✨

Another amazing ceremony today! 🎉 Kudos to our student-artists for presenting their works, weeks of practice all led to this moment. From nervous beginnings, they grew into confident speakers who made us so proud. 💪🎨

Thank you for giving our students this opportunity to shine. 🌟
Thank you to our guests for joining us and interacting with the students. 🙏
Thank you to everyone at APS for the support in making this exhibition possible. đź’™
And of course, to our dearest parents—thank you for being there and encouraging your children every step of the way. ❤️

Abandonment
2025
Ink on canvas

This work was inspired by Lim Cheng Hoe’s Kampong. I set out to depict an abandoned kampong, left behind by its occupants for unknown reasons. As human beings, we tend to leave the past behind, each with our own reasons that others may never know. All that is left in this kampong are the memories and the structures built by its previous inhabitants, who have now journeyed to distant lands to create new futures. I enjoy working with fine details and linework and have decided to focus on them in this creation

The Other Sides of Our Stories

2025

Paperdyesculpt on canvas

This work is inspired by Teo Eng Seng’s OTOSOS No. 1.

Our artwork explores texture, colour, and form in a distinctive way. Using layered and organic shapes, the piece reflects movement and depth, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface. Rich textures and bold colours bring energy and raw emotion to this piece. This piece represents transformation, creativity, and the beauty found in imperfection.

Thank you so much for attending our APS Homecoming event last Friday night. It was a truly beautiful and memorable evening as teachers and students reunited after years apart.
The joy of reconnecting over delicious food, exciting lucky draw prizes, fun photo shoots, and heartfelt songs made the night so special. One of the most touching moments was hearing everyone proudly sing the school song together — a true reminder of the strong bonds we share.
Your presence made the event meaningful, and I sincerely look forward to seeing you all again at future gatherings like this.
Rest assured. I will send you the link to our photos via email soon.
