From virtual exchanges to museum adventures, our young minds have been busy embarking on exciting learning journeys beyond the traditional classroom!

Connecting across borders, the youngest learners recently met friends from GIIS Tokyo! Nursery presented on fruits and vegetables, K1 built creative shape robots, and K2 tackled a fun logo quiz, building confidence and cross-cultural friendships every step of the way.

Collaborating with peers overseas, PYP students connected with their peers from Chinese International School Manila, for a dynamic joint lesson led by Mr. Garcia. Together, they solved word puzzles, answered real-time questions, and built meaningful international connections.

Stepping into real-world history, CBSE primary students explored Singapore’s rich maritime heritage and naval history at the Singapore Navy Museum, gaining a deeper appreciation for how the Republic of Singapore Navy safeguards the nation.

Unlocking creativity, another group dove into the world of visual communication at the ArtScience Museum, discovering how art, images, and design convey emotions, symbolism, and stories far beyond words.

It is truly inspiring to see how these diverse experiences, continue to broaden horizons, spark curiosity, and shape well-rounded, future-ready global citizens.

A big moment of pride for our school community!

Congratulations to Jai Adithya and Sanjay Vasu on their wonderful performance at the Jalan Kayu Teams Tournament. Competing against more than 25 titled players, our young champions brought home the U16 Champions title and claimed 5th Place in the Open Category.

Adding to this milestone, both students have now officially crossed the 2100+ FIDE rating mark in international classical chess. Watching their hard work and strategic growth translate into international excellence is pure joy.

From joining GIIS in Grade 5 to achieving an impressive IBDP score of 40, Anaya’s journey has led her to King’s College London, where she will pursue Medicine.⁣⁣

Through research, entrepreneurship, dance and sports, she embraced opportunities to strengthen her communication, leadership and collaboration skills while discovering new interests beyond academics—reflecting the spirit of the GIIS 9 Gems framework.⁣⁣

The GIIS Primary Sports Day 2026 was a pure celebration of joy, courage, and togetherness.

From our youngest kindergarteners beaming with excitement in their fun coordination races to Grades 1 and 2 leaping over 50m hurdles with giant smiles, every moment was packed with happiness!

Grades 3, 4, and 5 brought incredible drive to the 50m, 80m, 100m, hurdles, and collaborative 4×50m relay events. It was heartwarming seeing our students cheer for their friends, celebrate every finish line, and lift each other up with high-fives and big hugs.

This milestone captures the spirit of Sports Excellence, celebrating the perseverance, teamwork, and discipline that shape our students’ growth and achievements within the GIIS 9 Gems framework.

Beyond the medals, it was about building confidence, teamwork, and kindness.

Our students recently showcased their community spirit through art at the Punggol Shore National Day Dinner. Celebrating Singapore's National Day at the Punggol 21 Community Club, our students performed Chinese, Malay, and Indian classical - Odissi dance pieces, highlighting multicultural harmony and concluding with the Singapore National Day song.

Their performances earned high praise from Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Gan Kim Yong and Adviser to Punggol GRC GROs Ms. Yeo Wan Ling.

By taking their talents into the heart of the neighborhood, our young performers reminded us that art has a unique power to connect cultures, bring communities together, and inspire unity.

Huge congratulations to Priyanshu Srivats and Ojas Singh from CBSE Grade 11 for winning the prestigious Silver Award at the Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO).
