Forest School Singapore has been Reborn, as the first local Forest School Training and Research enterprise, focusing on Educators, Parents, Practitioners, Community and Systems. After spending the past 8 years doing Forest School sessions and camps for children, we realised a need for work to be done with the environmental and social factors around our children. Forest School Singapore, will now
be driving change and impact through:
OUR ACTIONS
- Outreach to communities & populations beyond our existing reach.
- Forest School Trainings that fit our Malayan Archipelago context.
- Shine light through research on people and issues in Forest School communities.
- Challenge and evolve the existing Forest School practices in accordance with the rhythms of the land. OUR GOALS
- For 108 Singapore Public Community Centres (CC) to have their own Forest School / FS-like initiatives, led and managed by the people living around the CC.
- For 353 Singapore Public Ministry of Education (MOE) Schools to have their own Forest School / FS-like initiatives, led by a dedicated team of Educators.
- Develop a strong foundation of Forest School Training in the Southeast Asia region, that represents our land, culture, people and history. OUR MISSION
