Julia Gabriel Centre offers Speech and Drama programmes (2-18 years), Readers and Writers Programmes (2-12 years) and Early Learning Programmes (6 months-4 years). In addition, the centre runs a range of short and long term courses for adults through Julia Gabriel School of Education. A long established relationship with Trinity College London offers our students, from 6 years old and above, the o

pportunity to obtain Trinity College qualifications. Each year at Julia Gabriel Centre is divided into four terms. Children attend once a week (with the exception of the accompanied programmes which require children to attend a minimum of twice a week) and can continue on throughout the school holidays with our five-day holiday programmes. Our specialised EduDrama methodology, which uses drama, role play or imaginary play as tools for creating confident and expressive communicators, characterises every programme and working practice in our centres. Each specialist curriculum is carefully structured to enhance creativity, develop cognitive ability and ignite a passion for learning. Considerable attention is paid to creating a positive and enabling environment: teaching takes place with small group numbers in bright and colourful studios, facilitated by an international team of lively educators, passionate about creative education and children.

Building reading confidence starts with strong foundations!

In our Reading Stars Programme, K2 children receive targeted support to address specific reading challenges before Primary 1, from developing their phonics and recognising high-frequency words to improving reading fluency. 🌟

With plenty of guidance, practice and encouragement from our Early Literacy specialists, children gradually become more comfortable reading unfamiliar words, understanding what they read and expressing themselves with greater confidence.

Because when your child feels more secure in their reading, they can approach Primary 1 with greater confidence too. ❤️

The experiences they have lived, the lessons they have learnt and the passions they carry all shape the way they teach and connect with their students.

For our teachers, education is more than what happens during a lesson. It is about bringing their own experiences, personalities and passion into the classroom, and creating a space where children feel confident to do the same.

As we celebrate our educators this Teachers’ Day, we are reminded that some of the most meaningful teaching comes from simply being true to who you are.

A little throwback to last week’s Let’s Read and Write class, where our K2 children explored the wonderful world of animals. 🐾📚

Through stories, videos and hands-on activities, the children discovered new vocabulary, practised high frequency words and explored how different words can connect to express their ideas.

They also thought about how they would care for their own pets, encouraging them to make connections with the topic, share their thoughts and use language with greater confidence.

At Julia Gabriel, we believe children learn best when they are actively involved in the experience. By bringing stories and language to life, learning becomes more meaningful and engaging.

A special week made even more memorable with Daddy by their side 💙

Last week, we were delighted to welcome our PlayNest daddies into class for Daddy’s Week! From exploring and playing to singing and moving together, it was lovely to see our daddies experience the magic of PlayNest alongside their children. Moments like these remind us how meaningful learning can be when parents and educators come together to support each child.

Through thoughtfully chosen themes, every PlayNest class creates meaningful opportunities for children to connect with others, discover language through songs and stories, and build confidence in movement through play.

Learning through play begins earlier than we think. 🌱

We’re so glad to hear that our beloved children like Meteor’s son are enjoying their time in our PlayNest enrichment classes — exploring movement, building strength, and discovering the joy of learning in a fun and engaging environment.
