Neat? 🥃
Over Ice?🧊
With a dash of water? 💧
Or even in a cocktail? 🍹

For us, we’ll take it how you’re serving it, as long as it’s Arran! How do you enjoy yours?

What makes your Lagavulin experience? For me it’s probably the peat, sea salt, bacon and tea notes

Finally managed to land ourselves on a wee tour of the facilities on Islay. Had always been fascinated by the new make spirit since 2019 when we tried it, and through the visit we were able to appreciate the production methods used to achieve the desired profile. Also, exciting plans to expand warehousing facilities and potentially age our Ardnahoe casks on Islay in future!

And what a pleasant surprise at the end, to be able to visit the warehouse where the Cask number 1 lies, and be able to taste the new make spirit again- it’s still as good as ever! Waiting with great anticipation for the new releases to come🥃

I’m going to put it simply: when on Islay, you’ve got to head out on a boat with Gus and Harold

Absolutely one of the highlights of our time on the Island and thank our lucky stars for the great weather and sightings of wildlife in their natural habitat! 🦭

Alright back to Whisky now. Right on point with her selection of and Feis bottlings, and a surprise dram that we all enjoyed.

I must say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Lagavulin 26 when I tried it at launch, but breathing, tasting and discussing it overlooking the Hollow by the Mill, the dram came alive with a beautiful integration of ashy peat, coastal notes, and big yummy sherry!

Post-credits: Gus casually heading down to the seabed and procuring some fresh sea urbins and scallops which we feasted on with glee, so much so that some of us with “allergies” seemed to have had a lot to eat😂

Thank you folks for putting this together
