🐴《农历新年“龙马精神"》

新年是华人最重要的传统节日,也寓意着新的开始。为了让孩子们感受浓浓的年味,体验长大一岁的快乐,在马年来临之际,学校以 “龙马精神” 为主题,开展了一场充满欢声笑语的新年庆祝活动。

活动当天,孩子们穿着喜庆的节日服装,满怀期待地来到幼儿园。首先,大家在新年装饰画前与同伴合影留念,用镜头定格下美好的瞬间。

在老师的引导下,孩子们通过生动有趣的视频,了解了“年”的来历;随后,老师用幻灯片讲解了新年习俗以及各种年菜的吉祥寓意,让孩子们在趣味中感受传统文化的魅力。

接着,欢快的音乐响起——
🎵 N1 N2的小朋友们跳起了《阳光彩虹小白马》
🎵 K1 K2 的小朋友们表演了了《江南style》
稚嫩的舞姿为新年增添了一抹浓厚的气息,仿佛一匹匹小马在草原上欢快奔跑。

到了游戏时间,每个班级都开展了独具特色的新年游戏,寓意着马年奔腾、勇往直前:

· PG、N1 的小朋友:玩《球跃福门》,投出好运;
· N2 的小朋友:玩《新春赛马》,比比谁跑得快;
· K1 的小朋友:玩《讨彩头》,争当小先锋;
· K2 的小朋友:玩《马年我最甜》,好运连连来。

游戏结束后,小朋友们双手捧着橘子🍊,互相拜年,送上“大吉大利”的祝福,场面温馨又可爱。

下午茶点时间,孩子们品尝了寓意吉祥的新年美食,在舌尖上感受年味。有象征“马到成功”的年糕,还有寓意“龙马精神”的糖果,甜甜蜜蜜迎新春。孩子们也获得了老师所准备的马年小挂件。

一年一度的新年活动在欢声笑语中圆满落幕。祝愿所有小朋友在新的一年里,像小马一样活力满满,一马当先,健康成长! 🐴🧧

⭐ December Holiday Activities ⭐

K2 《The Rainbow Story》
“The Rainbow Story” tells the tale of different colours that at first argue about which one is the most important. As the story unfolds, they learn that each colour has its own special beauty and purpose. When they come together, they form a bright and beautiful rainbow.
The story teaches children that everyone is unique and important in their own way. When we work together and appreciate each other’s differences, we can create something wonderful just like the rainbow.

1⃣ Rainbow Craft
The children created a rainbow collage craft using various recycled materials such as coloured paper scraps, glitter foam, bread clips, and more. They began by drawing a rainbow with seven arcs on block paper. Next, they pasted different materials using glue to fill each colour section red, orange, and so on until the entire rainbow was completed. With teacher support, the children cut out their rainbow and pasted it onto blue paper to represent the sky. To complete their craft, they added cotton wool to both ends of the rainbow to resemble fluffy clouds.

2⃣ Dramatization 《The Rainbow Story》
The children helped prepare the props for the dramatization of the story, including painting a large rainbow and the sky.
Once everything was ready, the children took part in a short dramatization of the story. They portrayed different roles such as the narrator, the sky, and the seven colours of the rainbow. Each child representing a colour wore a matching paper hat and did their best to express their lines confidently. The children had great fun acting out the story and proudly showcasing their drama skills.

K2 成语故事 《守株待兔》
1⃣ 儿歌表演《守株待兔》
小朋友们在听完故事后了解故事情节,并通过图画复述出故事。
接着老师出示儿歌内容请小朋友们认读,并在认读过程中配上肢体动作。最后小朋友们完整地用肢体动作完成儿歌表演。

2⃣ 乐高故事复述 《守株待兔》
乐高是小朋友们很感兴趣的玩具,用乐高复述故事也是小朋友们新的挑战。
小朋友们在已掌握故事情节的基础上用乐高摆出故事中的场景和人物,并跟随场景复述出故事内容。
用乐高复述故事,让小朋友们体会到了学中玩、玩中学的学习乐趣。

⭐ December Holiday Activities ⭐

K1 《The Runaway Kitten》
The story is about a kitten who ran away from home after being scolded for breaking a vase. During his journey, he ventured into different places and met various animals. Although he had fun, the kitten eventually realized that home is the best place to be and decided to return home.

1⃣ Story Sequencing
The children played a memory sequencing game, recalling and arranging the animals the kitten met in the correct order.

2⃣ 《Animal Movement & What do we eat?》 Game
Each child selected an animal card and imitated the movements of that animal. They were then asked to identify the correct food card that matched the animal’s diet. If an incorrect card was chosen, the child would return and try again, encouraging persistence and learning through play.

3⃣ Story Booklet Creation
The children created a booklet and developed their own version of the story. They changed the main character to a boy or girl who went on an adventure and met different animals. Through the story, the children learned that the food eaten by different animals did not suit the character’s taste, leading them to realize the comfort of home and decide to return.

4⃣ Jungle Artwork
They used various colors to decorate their pictures and added jungle animals to complete their artwork, showcasing their creativity and understanding of the theme.

K1 《波西和皮普·红气球》
1⃣ 情景剧表演《红气球》
首先老师向幼儿讲述了故事,并让幼儿扮演故事中的角色,进行情景剧表演。
幼儿在表演过程中充分的了解了故事的节奏发展,并能够绘声绘色的进行表演,锻炼了幼儿的表演力以及语言表达表达能力。
故事教会孩子‌失落感是正常情绪‌,但可通过转移注意力化解,培养豁达心态。‌‌‌‌波西的共情与行动凸显了‌朋友在困难时的陪伴力量‌,帮助皮普将悲伤转化为新快乐。‌‌气球与泡泡的短暂性隐喻‌快乐不必永恒,瞬间的美好已足够珍贵‌,引导孩子珍惜当下。

2⃣ 音乐律动手指操 《我有一个红气球》
幼儿在了解故事情节的发展后,能够更好的跟随老师在唱儿歌的同时做手指操。
培养了幼儿对音乐律动的喜爱,也锻炼了幼儿的节奏感与舞感。

3⃣ 科学小实验 《气球风火轮》
老师将气球充好气后并粘贴在一起,形成一个“圈”,然后用吹风机(冷风)吹动气球,使气球在空中旋转。在此过程中,孩子们非常开心的体验了在旋转的气球圈中穿梭的快乐。
实验原理:气球风火轮能悬浮旋转,主要靠两个有趣的科学原理:‌伯努利原理‌和‌康达效应。空气流动让气球转起来,当你吹风机从下方吹气时,气流会快速流过气球轮的曲面,就像水流过小山包一样。这时,‌气球上方的空气流速慢、压力大,下方的空气流速快、压力小‌,压力差就产生了向上的升力,托住气球不掉下来。同时,气流会“贴”着气球表面流动,产生一个推动气球旋转的力,所以它既能悬浮又能转圈。‌

4⃣ 手工 《气球不倒翁》
幼儿选择自己喜欢的气球颜色,并将适量的绿豆装入气球中,在老师的帮助下给气球冲气并打结。幼儿用记号笔在气球上画出不同的表情。
完成后用手指戳动气球,气球不倒翁就制作成功了。
最后幼儿画出自己的气球是什么样子的,并用水粉将气球涂上颜色,记录下来自己做的气球不倒翁。
激发了幼儿对手工制作的兴趣,在装绿豆的过程中锻炼了幼儿手指灵活度。绘画过程中也锻炼了手部肌肉的发展。

⭐ December Holiday Activities ⭐

N2 《The Big Balloon》
The story is about a rabbit named Pip, who loves his big red balloon and brings it everywhere he goes. One day, Pip accidentally lets go of the balloon. It floats away and eventually pops, leaving Pip feeling very sad. However, his good friend Posy comes up with a wonderful idea—blowing bubbles together. They have lots of fun, and Pip learns not to cry even when the bubbles burst.

1⃣ Balloon Relay Game
The children worked together to keep the balloon in the air by gently hitting it to one another. This activity helped to develop their hand–eye coordination and encouraged teamwork, as they learned to hit the balloon closer to their friends.

2⃣ Balloon Sequencing
The teacher demonstrated how a balloon increases in size as air is pumped into it. Some children were given hands-on opportunities to pump the balloon and observe it inflating bigger and bigger. Each child was then given cut-out balloons of different sizes. They observed, compared, and used their logical thinking skills to arrange the balloons from the smallest to the biggest.

3⃣ Balloon Craft
Water was added into the balloons to give them a gentle bounce. The children dipped the balloons into different coloured paints and dabbed them onto paper to create patterns. This activity encouraged creativity, colour exploration, and the development of fine motor skills through balloon printing.

4⃣ Balloon Experiment
The N2s explored a science activity using baking soda, vinegar, and a balloon. Some children helped to add baking soda into the balloon, while others poured vinegar into the bottle. When the baking soda came into contact with the vinegar, a gas was formed, which filled the balloon and caused it to inflate. This activity introduced the children to simple science concepts, such as cause and effect, in a fun and engaging way.

N2 《乌鸦喝水》
1⃣ 儿歌表演 《乌鸦喝水》
小朋友们通过图片了解故事内容,然后跟随老师学习儿歌内容。
能够背诵儿歌内容后学习肢体动作,配合儿歌内容小朋友们一边读儿歌一边配合肢体动作完成儿歌表演。

2⃣ 复述故事 《乌鸦喝水》
小朋友们通过儿歌的学习已经对故事情节充分了解,老师出示图片再次讲述故事。
小朋友们尝试用图片说出故事中的一个句子,促进小朋友们的华文口语表达能力和表演能力。

3⃣ 科学实验 《浮力原理》
通过《乌鸦喝水》的故事小朋友们做了一个有趣的科学小实验。
小朋友们模仿乌鸦将小石子放进瓶子里让水位升高,小朋友们一边放石子,一边观察水位的变化。
通过实验让小朋友们直观地感受到科学的魅力,培养小朋友们对科学探索的兴趣。

4⃣ 创意绘画 《乌鸦喝水》
这是一个《乌鸦喝水》的手工活动,小朋友们先用彩色笔给乌鸦彩上颜色。然后用粘土搓出小石子儿放在水瓶里和水瓶外,手工完成。
在这个手工活动中小朋友们通过彩色、搓粘土和按粘土的技巧促进小朋友们的手部小肌肉发展。

N1《The Colour Monster》
“The Colour Monster” story is about a monster who feels confused because all his emotions are mixed up. With the help of a friend he learns to sort each feeling like happiness,sadness, anger, fear and calm into colours, making it easier for him to understand what he is experiencing. The story teaches children that it’s okay to have different feelings and that understanding and naming emotions can help them feel calmer and more in control. It encourages emotional awareness and healthy expression of feelings.

1⃣ Feelings Craft
The children took part in an art activity called Colour Your Feelings, where they painted an image to represent themselves using colours that reflected the emotions they felt that day: yellow for happy, blue for sad, red for angry, green for calm, and black for fear.

2⃣ Emotion Sorting Cups
This emotion-sorting cups activity to check their understanding of which colour represents each feeling based on the story. The children worked together, taking turns to pick a picture card (happy, sad, angry, fear, or calm) and placing it into the cup with the matching colour until the activity was completed.

3⃣ Calm-Down Corner
The children were invited to move to the Calm-Down Corner. The teacher reminded them of different ways to calm themselves whenever they feel overwhelmed. She introduced deep-breathing exercises, hugging a soft toy and tracing shapes with a finger. Each child took turns entering the calm-down tent to trace a shape or image of their choice and hug a soft toy to help themselves feel better.

4⃣ Music and Movement
They had fun dancing along and expressing different emotions through their facial expressions as they took part in a music and movement activity to the song “If You’re Happy and You Know It,” while wearing their emotion headbands.

N1 《会魔法的蔬菜》
1⃣ 科学小实验《开合的葱花》
老师向幼儿讲述所用到的物品有清水、食用盐与剪好的葱花段。
接下来老师向幼儿讲解如何操作,先将食用盐放入清水中,并进行搅拌,让盐与清水均匀的混合在一起。老师将剪好的葱花段放入清水与盐水中,让幼儿观察有什么不同,会发现放入清水中的葱花会“开花”,再将“开花”的葱花放入盐水中会发现葱花又闭合了。
实验原理:清水通过渗透作用进入细胞,导致细胞膨胀,让葱条展开像“开花”一样。而开花的葱条放入盐水中,由于盐水的高浓度,细胞内的水份会通过渗透作用向外移动,导致细胞失水收缩,葱条因此闭合。这种现象是植物细胞对周围溶液浓度变化的自然反应。

2⃣ 手工《胡萝卜穿线》
老师出示萝卜图片,让幼儿观察萝卜的外形特征与颜色,并让幼儿按照自己观察到的内容将萝卜涂上颜色,老师会将涂好颜色的萝卜剪下来并过塑打孔,让幼儿进行穿线。
涂色过程中锻炼了幼儿的手指灵活度与耐心。穿线过程中锻炼了幼儿的手眼协调性、精细动作和专注力。

3⃣ 手指操 《红萝卜绿青菜》
幼儿能够和老师一起听音乐、读儿歌,并跟随老师做手指操。
锻炼了幼儿对音乐节奏的掌握与身体协调性。

4⃣ 游戏 《蔬菜蹲》
老师向幼儿讲述故事,在故事中加深了幼儿对蔬菜的认知。老师让幼儿将蔬菜简笔画涂上颜色,并将幼儿分为四组不同的蔬菜,听老师所给的指令,当听到自己的蔬菜名称时蹲下来。
游戏过程中再次加深了幼儿对蔬菜的认知,涂色过程中也加深了对颜色的认知;锻炼了幼儿的思维敏捷度。

⭐ December Holiday Activities ⭐

PG 《Oh Dear!》
“Oh Dear!” is a story where young Buster visits his Grandma on a farm and is asked to fetch eggs for breakfast but can't remember where they came from, leading him to search under flaps for other animals (cow, pig, sheep, horse, dog, rabbit, duck) before finally remembering the hen house, where he finds two eggs under the hen.

1⃣ Whose Egg Is It?
In this activity, the children were challenged to identify and place the egg on the correct animal. The teacher pasted four picture cards of the animals (hen, dog, rabbit and cow) on each chair, alongside a plate for each animal. Using the scoop, the children must identify which animal produced the egg by placing the egg on the correct plate of that animal. The activity enabled the children to recall the story and to learn the origin of the eggs.

2⃣ Egg Rescue
The children had to retrieve eggs which were taped to cardboard with washi tape. The children will have to rip and tear all the tape off the eggs and place it on the provided plate. This activity helped promote their patience and problem-solving skills.

3⃣ Egg Craft
The children were given an egg template, glitter glue and stickers to design their own egg. This activity reinforced on their fine motor skills through squeezing, peeling and pasting.

4⃣ Floating Egg Experiment
The children did a “Floating Egg” experiment. The teacher prepared 2 containers filled with water.
After that, the children took turns to add salt to one of the containers and then placed the eggs respectively in the two containers. They then observed what happened to the eggs. The egg placed in the container without salt sank immediately to the bottom. However, in the container filled with salt water, the egg floated to the top right away. Simple science concepts like float and sink were explained in this activity, as salt water is denser (heavier) than water, it can support heavier objects like eggs.

PG 《没有礼貌的小猪》
这个绘本故事以生动有趣的情节,向小朋友们传递了讲礼貌、尊重他人的重要性。
故事中,小猪嘟嘟一开始不讲礼貌,伤害了小伙伴们的感情,失去了大家的喜爱和陪伴;而当它学会使用礼貌用语,尊重他人,主动分享后,又重新获得了友谊。
这让孩子明白,礼貌是人际交往的“金钥匙”,一句简单的“你好” “谢谢” “请”,不仅能让别人感到温暖,也能为自己赢得他人的尊重和喜爱,帮助自己收获更多的朋友和快乐。
同时,故事还告诉孩子们,认识到自己的错误并及时改正,永远都不晚。

1⃣ 《小猪佩奇》音乐律动
这个活动培养幼儿手指灵活的能力,激发幼儿对音乐的兴趣,培养其良好的音乐感知能力,提升幼儿的协调性和集中注意力的能力。

2⃣ 《踩水坑》体育活动
活动锻炼幼儿听觉感知与肢体协调,激活大脑的艺术细胞,释放天性,表达自我,在合作中学会倾听与分享。

3⃣ 《粉色小猪》手工活动
幼儿观察小猪的外形结构,运用颜料帮小猪涂上漂亮的颜色,锻炼幼儿手部精细动作。

4⃣ 《给小猪洗澡》 健康活动
锻炼幼儿自理能力,培养爱干净,讲卫生的意识,让幼儿在日常生活中养成良好的卫生习惯。

The Little Talents celebrated Christmas yesterday! All the children were dressed up to the occasion and we had a few little elves, Santa Claus and Santarina~

冬至已至,温暖随行。在这个充满传统韵味的日子里,为弘扬中华传统文化,增进孩子们对传统节日的认知,学校开展了一场温馨且富有意义的活动。

老师绘声绘色地为孩子们介绍冬至的由来,随后,大家一同观看了关于冬至由来的故事视频,深入了解这个重要节气的来龙去脉。

通过学习和观看,孩子们知道了冬至吃饺子、汤圆等习俗背后的寓意,感受到传统文化中团圆、祈福的美好愿景。

紧接着的动手搓汤圆环节,孩子们围在桌前,小手灵动地揉搓着糯米团,一颗颗圆滚滚的汤圆在孩子们的巧手下诞生,承载着满满的欢乐与对传统节日的热爱。

此次冬至活动,让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中学习传统文化知识,让传统文化的种子在孩子们心中生根发芽。

Next up.. which is also one of the highlights of the camp.. DIY fan craft! We chose the design of the fan that we like and added colours to it to create our pretty fans!

Last but not least, we ended off the camp with reflection on what we enjoyed most during the camp and some yummy juicy watermelon~
