Congratulations to our second cohort of AI Application Development Bootcamp graduates! πβ¨
Over five intensive weeks, participants gained hands-on experience in applied AI, exploring prompt engineering, AI APIs, governance, intelligent agents, and portfolio development. They wrapped up the program by creating capstone projects that applied AI to real-world challenges.
Building on the success of our first cohort, DigiPen (Singapore) is proud to continue equipping learners with future-ready AI skills for an evolving digital landscape.
Well done, graduates! We look forward to seeing what you create next! π

Together with GovTech (Government Technology Agency of Singapore) and Singapore Institute of Technology, DigiPen (Singapore) is proud to be enhancing digital twin and simulation technology in the Punggol Digital District β building virtual replicas of real-world environments that let planners test, simulate, and predict without ever touching the physical world.
And four of our BS in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation students are right in the thick of it as GovTech interns. Learn more about the work that they're doing and how their skills in C/C++, real-time engines, geometry, and asset management are being put to use.

It was our honour to partner with OceanX, a nonprofit advancing ocean science and education, to hold their first-ever on-shore hackathon locally here on our campus last week. The hackathon challenged DigiPen Dragons to reimagine ocean education for the digital age and help deepen the public's understanding of it.
π»Over the course of two days, participants worked with OceanX data and assets to create immersive digital experiences centred on brine pools: mysterious underwater lakes that are hidden deep within the ocean. Saltier and denser than surrounding seawater, these brine pools are among the most extreme environments on the planet, yet are still able to support remarkable forms of life.
Students used their creativity and skills to bring these hidden worlds to life through a variety of projects such as interactive games featuring deep-sea creatures and immersive ocean exhibits that highlight the richness and diversity of the marine ecosystems.πππ¦π
A big thank you to OceanX for this meaningful collaboration and to all our talented students who took part!ππ―π
