Congratulations to all participants and coaches for their Grading performance last Sat!
The real goal isn't the next belt color.
Rather, it's the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that flashed throughout the 3 hours of non-stop action,
That fuels you of where to go next.

The second Grading of the year- DONE!
The event concluded with a commentary from Anthony-sensei, the founding teacher of our dojo.
While school had resumed for local students, our foreign participants remained in the summer holidays.
But in spite of the smaller numbers, it was a delightful sight to see them doing their best performing the various assessment components.

Every Apr 24th celebrates the life and legacy of the Founder since his passing,
And every year we wonder about the best way to honor his memory.
The late Founder was a maverick of his time,
Setting a unique path of what he thought Karate should be-
Practical to the context of the real world we live in,
Scientific in its approach against violence,
And open for anyone to better themselves and the community through continuously challenging themselves and making the trip experience enjoyable.
His legacy lives on through us, his students,
And us, the next generation of senior practitioners upholding the mantle of the beautiful art.
This month on, we spent time amongst senior members to reflect upon what it means to be good ambassadors of the Founder's legacy,
And realize that it's up to us all to build and support our little community in the generations to come.
A place where people grow by making Karate enjoyable,
That's our journey together.
