The Stamford Student Council serves as the representation for the Secondary School at Stamford American International School. We organize all sorts of events from Spirit Weeks to Dances to Fundraisers. If you would like to suggest an idea please do so on our website under the "Contact Us / Feedback" tab. From September 20th to October 11th, Interact club is hosting a food drive! All foods will go to Food from the Hearts: an IPC-status food bank in Singapore dedicated to nourishing the lives of the less fortunate community.
The donation boxes are located around the school near the lifts.
Your donations means another smile! Go Lions!

🦁2023 Spirit Week🦁
To celebrate our school and build community leading up to Global Be Well Day, the Student Council is hosting a Spirit Week! We've gotten many requests from the student body to host dress-up days, so we hope you participate and help develop our sense of school community and belonging.
Monday (25th Sep): Pajama Day!
Tuesday (26th Sep): "The Office" Themed - Students will dress up in corporate or work wear, and teachers will dress up as teenagers!
Wednesday (27th Sep): School Spirit! Dress up in Red, White, and Blue to celebrate SAIS and our Athletics Teams.
Thursday (28th Sep): Vacation Wear - come to school in vacation and beachwear, bonus points if you dress up like a tacky tourist...
Friday (29th Sep): House Shirts for Global Be Well Day

Applications for House Captains are now open. We will have two per house. These will close at 4pm this Thursday, 31st August.
If you are interested in being a House Captain please complete the linked form.
Once applications are closed then teachers will endorse each candidate and final decisions will be made next Monday, 4th September.
Successful candidates will be notified on Tuesday, 5th September and will be introduced to the community at the HS assembly on 6th September.
