Today we came together to celebrate the passion and effort of every single educator at Naval Base Secondary School. As mentors, guides, coaches, and daily cheerleaders, our educators wear countless hats to nurture every Navalite with boundless dedication and heart. On this special day, the entire school community came together with gratitude to recognise our teachers who go above and beyond to inspire us every single day! 🌟❤️ From our Parent Support Group who put together a scrumptious breakfast, to our alumni who came back home to show their gratitude, it was truly heartening to see the whole NBSS family come together to affirm our teachers. With all our hearts, we wish all of our teachers a Happy Teachers' Day!

NBSS was buzzing with energy this week as Navalites embraced active living! Recess turned electric with competitive planking, battle ropes, and box jump challenges, while the courts saw fierce rallies in our Badminton Challenge. Students also stepped out of their comfort zones through inclusive Inter-CCA Kin-Ball games, forging teamwork and sportsmanship across different CCAs, and pushed their limits with fun Fight-Do and K-pop Fitness workouts! This week was certainly a reminder that building healthy, lifelong habits is always better together!

Today, Navalites came together to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday with enthusiasm, pride and gratitude! 🇸🇬

We were honoured that members of the Republic of Singapore Navy's 8th Flotilla (), led by our Guest-of-Honour, Colonel Aaron Li, graced this year's SG61 observance ceremony.

Together with our Parent Support Group who spread festive cheer across the school, and a symbolic tree-planting activity, we celebrated our shared commitment to building a stronger Singapore together.

Congratulations to our Upper Secondary Literature students for their outstanding performance at the National Schools Literature Festival last Saturday! Our Secondary 3 and Secondary 4 Unseen Poetry Debate Teams both emerged victorious against their opponents, while Ladawn (4 Expedition) was recognised with the Engaging Diplomat Award in the Set Text Roundtable Discussion.
