Joyful Tots at Bendemeer

Friendship knows no borders. ❤️

On 24 June, we had the pleasure of welcoming students and teachers from EtonKids, Chongqing, China, to Joyful Tots @ Bendemeer for a memorable day of learning, discovery and cultural exchange.

The children started the day with fun ice-breaking games before visiting Bendemeer MRT Station to explore the public artwork "And A New World" by Cristene Chang, learning how art reflects the stories and heritage of our local community.

They then shared lunch together, exchanged thoughtful gifts, and formed new friendships through play and meaningful interactions. Our visiting friends received a certificate and a set of books by a Singapore local author, while they delighted our children with beautiful gifts from China.

It was heartwarming to see children from different countries connect so naturally, reminding us that kindness, curiosity and friendship transcend language and borders.

Thank you, EtonKids, for spending this special day with us. We hope to welcome you again in the future!

友谊没有国界，成长因交流而精彩。❤️

6月24日，欣悦园非常荣幸迎来了来自重庆伊顿幼儿园的师生，共同度过充满学习、探索与文化交流的一天。

孩子们先透过有趣的破冰游戏认识彼此，随后前往明地迷亚地铁站（Bendemeer MRT）欣赏 Cristene Chang 创作的公共艺术作品《And A New World》，感受艺术如何展现新加坡社区的文化与特色。

大家一起享用午餐、互赠礼物，并在游戏与互动中建立珍贵的友谊。我们赠送了纪念证书及新加坡本地作家的图书，而重庆的小朋友们也为欣悦园的孩子们准备了来自中国的暖心礼物。

看到孩子们跨越语言和文化的界限，一起欢笑、学习、分享，让我们深深感受到文化交流的意义。

🌈Celebrating Racial Harmony Day 2026 🇸🇬

On 17 July, our little ones at Joyful Tots came to school dressed in colourful ethnic costumes to celebrate Singapore's rich multicultural heritage.

Through an engaging presentation, the children learned about the importance of racial harmony and how people of different races, cultures, and religions live together in peace and respect. They also enjoyed hands-on craft activities and had the opportunity to taste a variety of traditional local snacks.

It was a joyful day filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful experiences as we celebrated the values of unity, respect, and friendship.

Together, we are nurturing kind, respectful, and inclusive future citizens. ❤️

7月17日，欣悦园的小朋友们穿上了各族传统服饰，一同庆祝新加坡一年一度的种族和谐日，展现我国多元文化的魅力。

通过生动的讲解，让孩子们认识种族和谐的重要意义，了解不同种族、文化和宗教如何在新加坡和谐共处。孩子们还亲手制作了手工，并品尝了多种本地传统小吃，在轻松愉快的氛围中体验多元文化。

这一天充满了欢笑、学习与美好的回忆。我们希望孩子们从小培养尊重、包容与欣赏不同文化的价值观，成为心怀善意、懂得珍惜多元文化的小公民。❤️

A week of culture, connection, and celebration 🌙✨

Our little ones journeyed through Malaysia during our Culture Appreciation Week (16 to 19 March) — discovering its people, traditions, and flavours. From tasting yummy treats like ice gem cookies and kuih bahulu to exploring colourful kueh kueh, it was a sensory-filled experience!

We wrapped up the week with a joyful Hari Raya celebration on 25 March 💚

Dressed in beautiful traditional Malay attire, the children learned about the meaning of Hari Raya, enjoyed a delicious nasi lemak lunch, and had so much fun playing traditional games together.

Moments like these help our children grow in understanding, respect, and appreciation for the diverse cultures around us ❤️

充满文化气息与欢乐的一周 🌙✨

在我们的文化欣赏周 (三月 16 to 19 ），小朋友们一起“走进”马来西亚，认识这个国家的人文与特色。从品尝冰花饼（ice gem cookies）、鸡蛋糕（kuih bahulu）到各式各样的娘惹糕（kueh kueh），孩子们透过味觉开启了一段丰富的文化体验之旅！

我们也以温馨欢乐的开斋节庆典为这一周画下句点 💚

三月 25号 小朋友们穿上传统马来服饰，了解开斋节的意义，享用美味的椰浆饭（nasi lemak），并一起体验传统游戏，现场充满欢笑声。

透过这样的活动，我们希望孩子们从小培养对多元文化的理解、尊重与欣赏 ❤️
