Over the last few months, the talented teenagers from three classes in Franco Collège 1 have been diving deep into the episodes of Homer’s Odyssey. Their ultimate mission was to 'sell' an episode of Odysseus’s epic journey in a sharp, 30-second pitch, designed to inspire others to pick up the incredible books available right here at the médiathèque.
The entire creative process was handled by the students from start to finish. They began by brainstorming the visual design, moved on to scripting and recording their audio pitches, and then hand-picked a curated selection of matching books from our collection. To bring everything together, they even designed and arranged the final display in the library space. Come along to the médiathèque to check out their fantastic work, listen to the pitches, and find your next great read.

Each themed week invites young explorers aged 3 to 11 on a new adventure, from the exciting world of secret agents and magical dragons to the colourful universe of the circus.
Through creative crafts, interactive storytelling, games, and physical activities, children develop their confidence, imagination, and language skills in a fun and supportive environment. Sessions take place Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm, with full-day options also available.
Led by experienced teachers, our camps offer the perfect balance of learning, creativity, and friendship. As activities are conducted primarily in French, a basic understanding of the language is recommended.

From 15 June to Saturday 15 August, immerse yourself in "A Touch of Ballet" at La Médiathèque!
If you enjoyed discovering the Paris Opera and the magical world of ballet, you can now continue the experience with us and put your knowledge to the test. We have designed two levels of challenge to suit everyone: a crossword for children and French beginners, as well as a questionnaire for francophones and those at an A2 level or above.
A little hint to help you along the way: you can find all the answers hidden within the beautiful books on display. Once you have completed your challenge, simply submit your answers to the librarians.
All correct entries will stand a chance to win Alliance Française movie vouchers or book vouchers, so do come along and take part!
