A beautiful end for Spain.
They deserved the World Cup: undefeated in all their matches, and utterly dominating the finals against Argentina.
But no one can now forget Cape Verde either. A tiny but plucky island nation of 0.5 million people: the only ones to hold Spain to a draw, and who took Argentina to extra time.
They both showed the world why football is called the beautiful game.
