It seems to me that last year's Cambridge paper is quite weird, especially paper 2 and 3.
Sharing paper 2 question 4c with all my students.

Report card for H2 Chemistry results for the batch of 2015.
Recently, I have parents walking into my office to register for H2 Chem tuition. Some of them will ask if I can guarantee an A for their child. My answer to them is "Sorry madam, I cannot guarantee an A for any student. If there is a teacher who can guarantee all students an A, I will be very glad to recommend them. It is the students discipline to want to learn and practise. Only with such determination will a student achieve their best results."

As the results are coming in for the batch of 2015 cohort, I am happy that most of the students are satisfied with their results.
I am humbled by the comments and appreciation from some of the students.

Class of 2O15 with the majority from RIJC, NJC & ACJC. It has been a wonderful experience teaching all of you. I have learnt a lot from all of you as I impart my knowlege and answer all the profound questions that you have been throwing at me. It was a humbling experience for me as I plough through the syllabus with all of you.

I hereby wish all of you clarity of mind as you carefully pen your answers during the coming A levels. Do keep in touch as you receive your results coming 2016 Feb or March.

Like my previous batches of students, they have been posting their experience in the different university that they are in. I too hope that all of you will have happy stories to share as you embark on your new journey to the university of your choice. I will be happy to see you on your FB.

Let the best always be with you!

It's been an honour to know you for a year Tan Gian Yion. I am impressed with your will and determination to do well in chem oly and was very proud that you got in to the second round for both chem and physics. I recall that with your results, you do stand a chance to apply for ivy leagues or Cambridge. But your response was what I was impressed - that you have to look after your parents. That is a character that is not matched by students of your age. Most will be thinking of themselves of what best ivy leagues to enrol in. Most will probably not bother about how pricey the tuition fees is or how old their parents are. I respect you for your heart for your parents. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Hope to cross path with you one day.

It has been nice knowing all of you boys from CJC Weiren, Ernest, Raj (the ni**er & the student who is always very inquisitive), Alex Teo (NYJC) who never stop amusing us, Prem (TPJC) who just joined recently and is always making an effort to answer my questions, (keep it up but make sure you think over your answer before penning it), and not forgetting our new couple Sean Ng & Jade Chen. Wishing all of you clarity of mind when you sit for the coming A levels. Do continue to keep in touch after your A levels. Remember the reunion during Chinese new year. I will contact you all when the time comes.
