We were honoured to welcome representatives from the Hakuhodo Foundation, a Japanese public interest foundation dedicated to advancing child education, language, and cultural understanding since 1970.

They paid a visit to ERC Institute to interview our students sharing their perspectives on the differences between the local government education system and their current tertiary education experience.

Students highlighted how learning at ERC Institute encourages open discussions, collaborative group work, and interactive classroom engagement. They also shared how industry speaker sessions and company visits provide valuable exposure to real-world working environments, helping them gain practical insights beyond the classroom.

The flexibility to express ideas freely and engage closely with lecturers has also empowered students to develop greater confidence, independence, and maturity in their learning journey.

Clarification Regarding Recent News Reports

ERC Institute wishes to clarify that the recent court ruling involving former director Mr. Andy Ong Siew Kwee relates to matters dating back to 2012, prior to the current ownership and management of the Institute.

Following its acquisition by a Japanese entity in 2019, ERC Institute is operating under a completely new ownership, governance, and leadership structure.

ERC Institute remains firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, governance, and educational excellence. We will continue to focus on delivering quality education and supporting the success and wellbeing of our students and stakeholders.

A big thank you to Sage Salon, especially Ms. Ratha and Ms. Pavi, for warmly welcoming ERC Institute’s ADBM students for their capstone project interview session.

As part of their Capstone Project module, students work closely with an industry partner to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout their course to real-world business challenges. Through research, analysis, and project management processes, students develop practical recommendations while gaining valuable exposure to industry practices and professional collaboration.

The visit to Sage Salon gave our students meaningful insights into salon operations, customer experience, and service marketing, enriching their understanding of how businesses create strong customer engagement and service excellence in the beauty and wellness industry.

We appreciate the opportunity for our students to learn directly from experienced industry professionals and industry partners who support experiential learning.

Following the conference, ERC Institute’s leadership team Chairman Mr. Furuya Koji, CEO Mr. Makino Satoru, and Sales and Marketing Director Mr. Sam Lee continued their visit in China with a series of strategic engagements. This included a visit to United International Academy (UIA), where discussions centred on advancing academic collaboration and reinforcing long-term partnership goals.

A key highlight was the meeting with Mr. Wang, Founder of UIA and ERC Institute’s Independent Director based in China. The session provided valuable insights and strengthened strategic alignment as both institutions explore further opportunities for collaboration.

The visit also featured a comprehensive campus tour, offering a closer look at UIA’s learning environment, as well as an extended visit to Shanghai Songjiang Aiju School. These engagements further reinforced shared educational aspirations and regional commitment.

Together, the successful Agent Conference 2026 and subsequent visits reflect ERC Institute’s continued dedication to building a strong, globally connected network of partners and institutions.

Our students are currently preparing for the Young Trailblazers 2026 Hackathon, following an engaging brainstorming session held on 28 March.

The session was filled with insightful panel discussions, idea exchanges, and fresh perspectives that set the stage for innovation.

Representing ERCI , the team has identified a meaningful challenge to tackle:

How can we design solutions to reduce water pollution from everyday sources, such as household cleaning products and personal care items before they enter our waterways?

With their problem statement defined, the team is now refining their top three ideas and working towards developing impactful solutions.

Today, we hosted an exclusive, hands-on workshop with Keith Teo, where participants built, deployed, and owned their very own professional websites, all in just one day.

From concept to a fully live website, every participant walked away with something tangible proving that with the right tools and guidance, anyone can create in today’s AI-driven world.

With over 13 years of experience across leading organisations like Grab and Good Doctor, Keith brings both industry depth and practical expertise into the classroom.

ERC Institute Overseas Teaching Center (Qingdao OTC), the official overseas teaching centre of ERC Institute Singapore, offers structured pathways through its China-Singapore Training Programme and Master’s Degree Bridging Programme open to students from junior high to undergraduate levels.

We are delighted to welcome our Advanced Diploma in Business Management students as they take the next step in their academic journey at our Singapore campus.

What an inspiring and humbling experience for our students.

Our students from ERC Institute visited Project Dignity at Dignity Kitchen a social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and the underprivileged through meaningful employment and skills training.

Guided by founder Koh Seng Choon, students gained valuable insights into inclusivity, resilience, and the importance of creating opportunities for all.

From learning basic sign language to enjoying a hearty meal prepared by the talented differently-abled team, the experience was both eye-opening and deeply meaningful.

At ERC Institute, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Experiences like these shape our students to be more empathetic, socially aware, and grounded empowering them not only to succeed, but also to give back to society in their own meaningful ways.

We are also proud to have our CEO present alongside our students, showing strong leadership support in nurturing socially responsible individuals.

It was a meaningful farewell celebration for our BBA and Master’s students from the University of Chichester.
