Public Speaking Bureau

I have been teaching public speaking since 2015, and along the way, some students joined the toastmasters club and became my friend.
This particular one joined in 2018, works in the public service, and have been using one tip I gave in my course - end the talk with a powerful quotation.
This is what she wrote to me recently, citing that her boss told her that she had the best segment, and asked her if she learnt it from toastmasters. So she in turn share it with me and calling me her "shifu" or "master" in Chinese.
It never occur to me that I am the "shifu" - I share passionately, I share from my heart. I don't see my participants as my disciples or students. I just want them to get the best value.

But yeah. I admit it does feel good knowing that what I share works, and that there are actually people who appreciates me and what I have taught.
