Our lower elementary school Back to School Night brought our parent community into the heart of the school day.

Last night, parents stepped into their children’s classrooms for a closer look at the routines, learning, and experiences that shape each day. Educators shared what families can expect in the year ahead, reflected on the first days of school, and invited parents to take part in interactive activities that offered a small glimpse into life in the classroom.

The evening also brought families together with our specialist teams, lower elementary school leadership, and PTA leaders, creating space to connect, ask questions, and get to know the people who will be part of their child’s journey this year.

Thank you to all the parents and educators who made the evening such a meaningful start to our partnership for the year ahead. And upper elementary school families, you’re up next! We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for your Back to School Night!



Bus School is officially in session! Starting last week, our elementary school students took their learning out of the classroom and into the bus bay for our very first Bus School.

With buses ready and waiting, students got hands-on practice with the routines that help every journey run smoothly. They learned how to board calmly, find a seat, buckle up, keep the aisles clear, and exit safely. They also talked about what it means to be a good bus community member—looking out for fellow passengers, showing care and respect for drivers and bus aunties, and knowing how to ask for help if something doesn’t feel right.

Bus School is built around a simple idea: give students the chance to learn these routines before they need them and practice them together in the environment where they actually happen. Because wherever our Eagles are headed, we want every journey to be guided by the same three principles: Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Responsible.

Our Eagles have many interests and passions outside of school, and we’re extremely proud of their impressive accomplishments! Join us in congratulating our students, who exemplify the Eagle Way, all the way, as they reach new heights!

Sixth grade student Charlotte won the Bronze Award in the Violin Solo, Junior B category at the Singapore Raffles International Music Festival (SRIMF) 2026 Competition.

Tenth grade student Luca and his SAS teammates, competing as Titans, have won championships at three international basketball tournaments this year: IBTS, PTIC in Vietnam, and WYC. Luca earned two Tournament MVP awards as the team demonstrated outstanding performance, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship against strong competition from across the region.

Tenth grade student Julie placed third in the U20 Women’s Épée event at the 2026 International Regional Circuit (IRC) in Zhongshan, China, organized by USA Fencing.

Eleventh grade student Justin earned a CREST Silver Award from the British Science Association for his independent STEM project, Cubolic: IoT-Based Health Clustering System. He also received both the Gold Prize and WIPO Special Award for “Best of the Best Invention” at the Korea International Youth Olympiad 4i (KIYO) 2026 in Seoul, South Korea, and won the National Second Prize at the China Youth Works Exhibition for the 78th Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition (iENA).

Fourth grade student Nari earned second place overall in her age group in the Level 4 category at the Singapore Open Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) competition.

Twelfth grade student Ethan and tenth grade student Sophie jointly organized and performed in a sold-out concert at the Elder Blossom Concert Hall in Hua Hin, Thailand. Ethan was featured as a soloist, with the siblings sharing their music with an audience in the “Discovery Series with Ethan and Sophie Gu” concert.

Sixth grade student Sangwu and his team were crowned champions of the Adidas Elite Youth League U11 B11 Spring 2026 Season, one of Singapore’s highest-level youth football leagues.

Lower Elementary School

As students settle into the school year, they’re building community, learning routines, and finding their rhythm. It’s been a great week welcoming students and seeing them settle into routines and build community. In this week’s video, upper elementary school principals share a look ahead to Back-to-School Night, reflect on students’ Bus School experience, and highlight how students are settling into the school year.

Middle School

As the new school year gets underway, families may also encounter challenges in how students interact in online spaces. This week, Middle School Principal Chris Beingessner addresses concerns around inappropriate content in large student group chats and shares three questions that can help students make thoughtful choices online: Is it true? Is it kind? Is it helpful?

Parents are encouraged to sit down with their children to review their chats, ask questions, and use this same framework—while also considering how their own online behavior can reinforce the positive choices they hope to see from their children.

What a way to kick off the new school year! The Great Eagle Kickoff brought our community together for a day of play, connection, and plenty of Eagle spirit. Our elementary cheerleaders brought the energy, Eddie handed out high-fives, young Eagles took their chances at carnival games, and families spent the day connecting at playground socials, workshops, and community booths.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to our incredible PTA and parent volunteers who put so much time and heart into making the day happen. Here’s to a year full of new connections, big memories, and plenty of reasons to come together!

Middle school kicked off the year in style at this morning’s Welcome Back Assembly—a celebration packed with energy, House spirit, and uproarious joy!

We welcomed our newest educators and students, our educator band took the stage, the competition heated up with House point challenges, and our faculty rhythmic gymnastics teams stole the spotlight with some seriously impressive routines.

There’s no shortage of talent, school spirit, or personality in this community. Welcome back, middle school—we’re so glad you’re here!

Welcome back to school! It’s been an exciting few days as students fill the hallways, reunite with friends, and meet their teachers. As students settle into the new school year, there will naturally be moments of adversity alongside the moments of joy. This week, Middle School Principal Chris Beingessner shares how parents can encourage their children to embrace the imperfect and challenging moments, helping them learn how to overcome adversity and trust in their own resilience.

There’s something special about the first day of school. This morning, buses pulled in, families shared those bittersweet goodbyes, educators stood ready to welcome their students, and classrooms began filling with new questions, new ideas, and familiar faces reunited.

For some of our Eagles, today marked the beginning of a brand-new journey. For others, it was the return to a community that feels like home. Every first-day moment carries a little excitement, a little nervousness, and the promise of all that’s still to come.

Here’s to the friendships that will grow, the challenges that will shape us, the discoveries waiting to happen, and all the possibilities that are out there!
