Thank you to everyone who came down on Wednesday, 26 November to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the Henry Park spirit together. It was wonderful seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, sharing laughs over good food, and bonding through trivia, bingo, and plenty of memories. A special thank you to our Principal, Mr Charles Chan, for joining us and sharing a few heartfelt words with the alumni community.

Teachers’ Appreciation Day at Henry Park Primary School

Today, we celebrated our incredible teachers with a joyful lunchtime spread in the staff lounge! From sweet treats to energising brews, it was our small way of saying a big thank you for all the dedication, care, and inspiration they bring every day.

This event was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and support, made possible by the HPPS Alumni Association.

Special thanks to our wonderful vendors Uncle Chieng 詹爷爷 Ice Cream and Two Hands Coffee for adding their treats and charm to the occasion.

We’re so grateful for the chance to give back and create moments of delight for those who give so much!

We recently concluded our 28th Annual general meeting & P1 Registration talk at Monday Coffee Bar. Special thanks to outgoing President Ming Koon for his hard work and dedication to the alumni association these past few years. The presidency will be succeeded by Shin Min for the next term and we look forward to the next chapter with much anticpation!

HPPS Alumni has sent a wreath to the family of Mrs Esther Ang.

The HPPA (Parent’s Association) would also like to let all members know that her family welcomes former and current students who wish to pay their respects. If your family would like to create a card or write a letter, the school will be compiling these as a tribute to her legacy. Students may submit them to their teachers, and graduates may drop them off at the General Office.

Members of the Henry Park Primary School Alumni Association and their young ones were treated to a specially subsidized guided tour of Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson’s ‘Your curious journey’ at the Singapore Arts Museum.

Learning about the stories and craft behind his art, both parents and children were enthralled with the intricate light installations art pieces and how his some of his work related to climate change.

The exhibition marks the artists’ first major solo exhibition in Southeast Asia and Singapore is the first stop until 22 September.

At Olafur Eliasson: Your curious journey, uncover 17 main works on display that provide an overview on the themes and environmental concerns explored throughout the artist’s three-decade-long practice. There will also be never-before-seen works and Singapore-exclusive installations only available at this leg of the travelling show.

We had an incredible morning at our school compound capturing moments through the lens of our mobile phones, thanks to the talent and guidance of our very own alumni, Nicky Loh! 🌟 As an advertising photographer and filmmaker, Nicky led a captivating mobile photography workshop where participants explored various perspectives and techniques to elevate their photography game.

The results? Simply stunning! 🌟📸 From creative angles to unique compositions, the photos captured during the workshop are a testament to the incredible skills and creativity of our alumni community. 🎉

A huge thank you to Nicky Loh for sharing your expertise and inspiring us all to see the world through a different lens. 🙌 And to all the participants, thank you for making this workshop a success!
