Percentages is one of those chapters where Sec 1 students often know the formulas… but don't know what to do when the question looks different..

So we broke the chapter down into 11 common question types — what to look out for, which method to use, worked examples, then practice.

I've put the full Percentages chapter together as a PDF.

WA2 results are starting to come back.

And yes, while we’re always happy to see strong scores... we also want to remember this:

✅️ Not every win looks shiny on Instagram.

Some wins look like a student finally passing for the first time,
..others look like going through the paper and realising you finally did not make the same mistake again. 🤣🤣🤣

Regardless of the type of win, behind all these results is a lot of effort... behind the scenes, stuff we dont see on IG.

Not just from the students, but from the teachers who keep checking, correcting, reminding, and guiding them after every test.

So today, we’re celebrating all of it.

The high scores.
The first passes.
The quiet improvements.
The confidence slowly coming back.

Is your child still struggling with algebra, even after doing more practice?

For many Sec 2 students, algebra is not hard because they are careless or lazy.

It is hard because they don’t know what to look for.

When do I expand?
When do I factorise?
How do I solve the equation?
How do I turn a word problem into algebra?

That’s what we’ll be working on in our Sec 2 June Holiday Algebra Workshop.

Over 3 days, we’ll help students build confidence in:

Expansion
Factorisation
Algebraic equations
Word problems

Acing the paper will greatly increase your likelihood of scoring an A1 or A2.
