FM Pop Music School is formed as an advocacy training arm, whose mission is to inspire young people to pursue their interest in music with gusto and purpose to produce consistent, credible and popular compositions in music and lyrics. We are always actively nurturing and discovering promising young talents in the region, while continually expanding musicians’ regional outreach through music publis

hing and music production. Besides imparting technical knowledge in songwriting, performance and production skills, we train and educate a new generation in music knowledge based on our trainers’ real-life experience, for the future in music. We strive to train future trainees based on a strong belief that everyone, including you, is able to “Write..Sing..Play the Song in You”.

SG:SW 2025 might be the stage where it all begins. Over the years, we’ve seen how this Mandopop songwriting festival can open doors—and we’re proud that several FMPOP alumni have gone on to win and grow through this very platform.

Whether you’re writing in Mandarin or weaving in multicultural sounds, welcomes it all. If you’ve got the heart for songwriting, don’t miss this chance to develop your voice, connect with mentors, and get your music heard.

This heartfelt song was crafted by the talented students of Pioneer Primary after completing just 4 lessons in our songwriting enrichment program! 🎶 Pioneer Primary invited us to help create a special surprise for their PSLE graduating batch, which the students performed during their graduation ceremony. 🎓✨A huge shoutout to Joshua from Funkie Monkies Pop Music School and the dedicated music teachers, Mrs. Caryln Loh and Mrs. Tan Yingqing, for guiding the students through this creative journey. 🙌It’s truly inspiring to see schools fostering songwriting as a powerful form of self-expression, allowing students to convey their thoughts and emotions in ways they never imagined. 🌟
