As Term 3 ends, let's rewind to where the term began: a stage lit with purpose, and a story worth telling. ✨

In the very first week of term, took From Light to Life to the Theatres at Mediacorp 🎭, following a stellar S*F Arts Performance showing in 2025 that earned three Distinctions and two Accomplishments. Inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, our Choir 🎤, Dance Ensemble 💃, Guzheng Ensemble 🎶, Concert Band 🎺 and English Drama 🎬 came together to tell a story of compassion, kindness and hope, reminding us that every person carries a story worth understanding. ❤️

Behind every solo and every scene stood a community of performers, teachers and staff who poured their hearts into making it happen. 🙌

🇦🇫🇹🇪🇷🇬🇱🇴🇼 ✨

Our Secondary 3 KCPians recently spent an unforgettable week at Outward Bound Singapore (OBS), across three campsites — including the newly opened Coney Island campus!

From kayaking 🚣 and orienteering 🧭 to hiking, high elements, cooking outdoors and pitching tents ⛺, our students pushed beyond their comfort zones. Along the way, they learnt what it means to show grit and resilience, take initiative, and care for one another — making sure that no one was left behind. 💪🤝

Many returned stronger and more resilient, with a deeper awareness of their own strengths and areas for growth.

As our Sec 3s continue their journey in KCPSS, we hope they will hold on to that OBS afterglow ✨ — the lessons learnt, friendships strengthened, and growth in attitude and character — and carry it with them into the adventures ahead! 🌱

🌟𝕁𝕦𝕝𝕪 ℍ𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤: ℂ𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕓𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕙 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕪!🌟

July was a meaningful month as came together to celebrate Youth Day and Racial Harmony Day—two occasions united by the values of empathy, inclusion and respect.

Guided by the Youth Day theme, “Small Actions, Big Impact,” our school community spent an inspiring week celebrating the potential of our youth and championing inclusivity. From Mr Tan kickstarting the celebrations to an impactful peer sharing by Niranjan (3 Peace), and an eye-opening session on intellectual disabilities by MINDS —superbly emceed by Kaylee (1GR)—we discovered how simple, everyday acts of empathy can help build a warmer and more inclusive world. Thank you to everyone who visited the MINDS information booth and showed that our youth truly have the power to make a difference! 💙✨

This spirit continued into Racial Harmony Day, as KCPians celebrated Singapore’s rich cultural diversity and reflected on the importance of mutual respect and understanding. By appreciating our different cultures and learning from one another, we strengthened the bonds that unite us as one school and one community. 🤝🇸🇬

May we continue turning small actions into a big impact—building a school and society where everyone feels respected, included and valued.

𝗞𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗦 𝘅 𝗣𝗣𝗣𝗞 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 (𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮): 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽!

It was our pleasure to welcome students and teachers from the PPPK Petra Schools in Indonesia to KCPSS as we celebrate 18 years of partnership and friendship! 🇮🇩🇸🇬

📍 Our guests experienced school life alongside KCPians through classroom lessons, a special Design and Technology programme, a school tour, and various CCA activities.

🌏 They also joined us in celebrating Racial Harmony Day, where they learnt more about Singapore’s multicultural heritage and enjoyed the festivities at our RHD Bazaar.

🤝 Through collaborative project work and a museum visit, students from both countries exchanged ideas, formed new friendships, and deepened their understanding of one another’s cultures.

We are grateful for the strong bonds we have built over the years. Here's to many more years of learning and growth together. We look forward to visiting their schools in November to continue our exchanges! 🌱

Visiting Bishan Public Library NLB Singapore over the next few weeks? Drop by and support 's student designers!

From July to September, selected Design & Technology projects by KCPSS Lower Secondary students are on display:
🔹 Sec 1 — personalised tags and mobile phone holders crafted from cardboard, shaped by real user needs and multiple rounds of prototyping
🔹 Sec 2 — STEM catapults built on engineering and testing, plus sustainable wooden toys designed to be functional, attractive, and responsible towards people and the environment

Every piece began with one simple question: how can I make someone's life a little better? That's Design Thinking in action — not about getting it right the first time, but having the courage to try, learn, and improve.

Congratulations to all our KCPSS student designers. Do stop by with family or friends and see their hard work for yourselves!

Celebrating Our Alumni 🎉

We are delighted to celebrate Chloe from 5 Resilience, Class of 2025, on her outstanding achievement at the MOE Design & Technology Awards Ministry of Education (MOE)!

This prestigious national award, organised by MOE in collaboration with NIE Singapore and the Design and Technology Educators Society, recognises students for their creativity, critical thinking and innovation in solving real-world problems. The award assesses not just the final prototype, but the design thinking and the user-centred approach behind it.

Chloe's award in the Creative Adaptation category is a wonderful testament to her ingenuity and heart for purposeful design.

Though she has since graduated from KCPSS, Chloe remains very much part of . Congratulations, Chloe — we look forward to seeing where your creativity takes you next! 🎉
