♻️ One person's pre-loved = another's new favourite.

Last week's Learning Finale brought something brand new to — our very first pop-up, thrift shop, Second Chance!
Students swapped pre-loved items, made pledges to waste less, and proved that sustainability starts with us. 🌍

Every item passed on is one less item wasted.

As we reach the end of Semester 1, we celebrate culture, community, and connection brought to life by our MT Department. 🎉

🌸 Chinese New Year & MTL Cultural Gallery

From community outreach where our students gifted their lovingly curated CNY hampers to beneficiaries, to a beautifully crafted MTL gallery where were connected to their cultural roots in a meaningful way, it was a time of rejoicing and appreciation.

💚Hari Raya Celebrations

Our Malay Language students delivered a vibrant rendition of "Serumpun" together with sign language to champion inclusivity and celebrating the spirit of Gotong-Royong — the spirit of community. During assembly we were blessed with a special performance by Mini Monsters who enriched our students' understanding of the Malay & Muslim culture through play and interactive activities.

📚 Reading with Purpose

Malay Language students also designed thoughtful bookmarks on community spirit, to tie in beautifully with our Thursdays D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) programme, helmed by both the EL and MT Departments. ✨

Swipe to check out pictures from these events.

✨ From Light to Life | Student Leaders' Investiture and Dedication (SLID) Service 2026.
This year's SLID Service was more than an appointment — it was a calling. Our student leaders were commissioned before God and the KCPSS community to carry something greater into everything they do.
Our Chaplain, from Adam Road Presbyterian Church, Pastor Adrin, anchored the ceremony in courage and love ❤️, while our Guest of Honour Mr Tommy Loo, Senior Director at Grab, and proud KCPSS alumnus, moved us with a story of receiving light and passing it forward.
"Leadership doesn't end when you take off the badge."

With praise and worship led by our students and teachers 🎶, and the unwavering support of our parents and stakeholders 🤝 — this is a moment will carry close.

👗✨ 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗡

For Earth Day this year, we were so honoured to have Ms Nadia from .sg come speak to our KCPians about sustainable fashion — and why the clothes we wear say a lot about the world we want to live in.

From the lifecycle of a garment to the true cost of fast fashion, Ms Nadia challenged us to become more mindful consumers — to think twice before we buy, and think smart about what we already own. 💚

Students in the hall had their hands up, hearts open, and minds ready for change. 🙌

The energy didn't stop there. Our Environment Reps brought the conversation right into the classroom, sparking discussions on mindful consumerism with their classmates. 🌿

Teachers and students have already started bringing in pre-loved clothes, accessories, and bags for our very first KCPSS pop-up event. Keep a lookout! 🛍️🌍

🌿 𝓚𝓒𝓟𝓢 102𝓷𝓭 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼’ 𝓓𝓪𝔂 — 𝓢𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓯𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓲𝓷 𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓢𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷

On 24 April, KCPPS and KCPSS gathered as a family to celebrate 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓻𝓸𝓸𝓽𝓼, 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓳𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓮𝔂, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓱𝓪𝓼 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓭 𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓯𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓼𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷.

We were deeply honoured to have 𝓜𝓼 𝓔𝓵𝔂𝓼𝓪 𝓒𝓱𝓮𝓷, Adviser to the Bishan-Toa Payoh Grassroots Organisations, grace our celebration as our Guest-of-Honour. We also extend our appreciation to 𝓔𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓻 𝓚𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓷 𝓛𝓮𝓮 (Chairman, KCP Schools SMC), 𝓜𝓻𝓼 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓣𝓪𝓷 (distinguished guest and alumna), and members of the School Management Committee, Parent Support Groups, alumni, chaplaincy teams, and the 𝓚𝓒𝓟 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝔂 for being part of this special occasion.

From the parade to the performances, and the many moments in between, Founders’ Day reminded us of what it means to be steadfast — not just in the big moments, but in the quiet, faithful work of our people.

Grateful for our students, staff, parents, alumni and friends who continue to carry this story forward.

As continues in the spirit of celebration following Founders’ Day on Friday, 24 April, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2023. There is immense pride in learning of our alumni’s achievements at (Saint Andrew's Junior College). Bravo!
Their success is a testament to the hard work they demonstrated during their time at school, and is grateful to have played a part in their journey. We thank God for blessing our KCPians — both current students and alumni — and for guiding each of them every step of the way.
