This is the official page for the Singapore American School Robotics Team 4817. Our team participats in the FIRST Robotics Competition as One Degree North or #4817 and the Marine Advanced Technology Education ROV (MATE) competition as Recount Inc. We are an emerging but enthusiastic team that seeks for amazing adventures in the engineering field.

Last day of southern cross regionals complete! We were the alliance captain for the 5th seed of the playoffs! We had a blast dancing with the other teams and driving robots. Congrats to all the winning teams! Next stop: Hawaii Regionals

finished 7 matches today. We had some heavy modifications on the robot and some stressful moments during the FIRST impact presentation. We ended the day having fun at the beach and making a sand robot. Overall we had a blast at regionals and we can’t wait to continue tomorrow!

Day 1 of Southern Cross Regionals complete! We had a great day of practice matches and met some great teams! Can’t wait for qualifications to begin tomorrow!

We're moving onto the final stretch of season! During week 5, our robot was assembled and completed! Photos are from our robotics booth at our school's international fair. STAY TUNED FOR OUR BOT REVEAL!!

Week 4 of the season is complete! This week was a very heavy work week. We worked on autonomous pathplanning and we almost finished the pivot! Can’t wait for the next week to begin as we prepare for the Southern Cross Regional!

Week 2 of the season was a success! The CAD is completely finished for this week, fabrication sheets are out and our robot is many steps closer to completion! We wish everyone who celebrates a Happy Chinese New Year!

FIRST WEEK of the season complete! Our team finished design ideation and we’ve started ok the drive base. Can’t wait for week 2!

In honor of Hispanic Hertiage Month, also known as Latinx Heritage Month, from September 15th to October 15th we are going be celebrating our Hispanic and Latinx community within Robotics and STEM in general!
